Indeed. But he'd be the first to tell you no referee gets it
right all the time. Witness Wayne Barnes and the France vs New
Zealand game.

In fairness - he appologised to the players saying he had
misheard the call.

It's a lesser mistake than him penalising Farrell for holding on
in 2018 when Hamish Watson had gone for the ball from the wrong
side.
