Here's what EJ says about Danny (and Dan Cole) being left out of
this pre-season get-together:

I think seven harlequins (+perhaps Care/Smith/Clifford) knocking
on the England door gives you some hope that the team is better
than last season's performance.

I think that 7+ Quins in the England squad is great...but it
gives us some problems at club level.

Well to be fair it is his 44 man squad. It'll get cut later.
Ibutoye, Earle,Marchant probably won't feature. We should by now
have planned for Brown/Robshaw/Sinckler/Marler/Care getting
called up.

He didn’t get an injury - he’s fully involved in Quins training.
He’s dropped. He was before. They’ve decided to use weird
terminology.

Pleased for Joe - been really unfortunate with injury and glad
to see he is still in the mix ! Marler is an absolute liability
so hopefully Lewis B will get plenty of game time this season
in his absence !

Marler, one of the best props on the planet, Boyce, some bloke
who plays rugby. Can see why you’d want it that way round.
