Notable that Smith isn't included, nor is Care. Clifford is
listed as not considered due to injury.

It says neither Care nor Clifford were considered for whatever
reason. No mention at all of Smith though.
Why is Piers Francis still involved

England should not have access to players during the pre season
as it must disrupt the clubs training programme.

Bit odd that Care isn't in there (England career over?) Taking
the pressure off Smith is a good decision, got lots to prove
still!!

Perhaps Care has picked up an injury in the off-season, seems a
bit strange to list him as not considered due to
injury/fitness/other if he's just been dropped.

people have been predicting Care/Brown/Robshaw's demise for a
number of seasons. Eventually of course they will be proved
right! :)

As long as Care is fit and playing well I think he'll walk back
into the AI squad. I can't even remember who took his place in
SA such was the impression made.

They are away with England for Sat and Monday, not a big
disruption really.
