Thanks so much for all the replies and for sharing experiences.
Some really useful pointers here and really comforting to know
that it can work so well. Will pick a game early in the season
and give it a go! Thank you all!

I can only echo some of the posts above. We first took our son
to the Stoop aged 18 months. He's 18 now!
Back then, aside from player's kids we only knew one other small
child regulary attending. There were no baby change facilities
at all. My wife had to make do with the floor of the ladies in
the East stand. This changed after chatting with the then CEO's
Tony Copsey's wife as our kids played together on the stage in
the East stand bar.
Our son got his first season ticket at the tender age of four as
he squirmed too much on my lap during the games! He didn't
really pay too much attention to the matches at all. Around this
time Quins started to have bands playing in the Kings bar after
matches and our son was captivated by that. He met another boy
after one match and they became fast friends. And still are! As
indeed are our respective families.
The Stoop is a second home for our lad. He played for a local
club for ten years and his room is filled with memorabilia and
pictures with players.
He goes to University this summer, luckily not too far away, and
is adamant he'll be in his usual seat as usual.
You can't go wrong in taking your kids to Quins in my view.

More likely ear defenders than headphones - we had a set of
Peltor Kids Ear Defenders for ours.

Perhaps he sat next to the Horned Helmet?
If you bring your young 'un to the game, make sure one of the
many times-mentioned baby-eating locks isn't hungry...

I’ve been taking my twins since they were born prob about a
month old when they went to their first match. They are 10 now
one likes it more than the other but both come to a couple of
games a season. Get there early fir the face painting bouncy
castle and bring plenty of snacks to keep them occupied

Agree with the comments above. We took our daughter from a young
age (she's now three and a half). Would definitely recommend ear
defenders, and our little one loves saying hello to the bears
whenever she can spot them!

I've 2 daughters, now in their twenties, both went with me from
age 4-5.
Ground is family friendly, it will also teach him/them to to
deal comfortably with large numbers of people, educate him in
the social graces...please, thank you etc.
The boyfriends were taken to games.
They still argue as to who will accompany their dad on match
days!!! 2 seats...

It's nothing to do with you which of your daughters' boyfriends
take their father to rugby....
