Why? His record is really quite good - a 2-1 series win in
Australia (won all but one game on tour) and a creditable 1-1
draw in NZ (D 2, L3, W5 in total) - has any coach beaten that
(in recent history)?

Totally uninspired choice and quite a decisive character. Yes
undoubtedly a good coach/Manager just a little bored of him now
