Not understanding the laws of rugby or physics doesn't give you
much ground to stand on here.
Your way of things would be nearly impossible to adjudicate and
would involve most of the running passes and offloads in the
game being illegal.

It's all down to quantum mechanics. Heisenberg's rugby-playing
son often wondered whether the ball had particularly gone
forward or not but Schrodinger's waved this away and became
excited watching the game on the box.

I particularly agree with the no yelling at the officials point!
But in general, I wish the game was a bit simpler: through
making the rules clearer and more consistently applying them.
I can’t think of any rules that I’d change, but I think the book
could be re-written so it’s easier to digest and understand,
with each rule more logically flowing from the key established
principles.
I only played a bit of rugby at school and that was quite some
time ago - back then I sort of new what was going on - but the
game has changed since the mid 90s.

Jammy why do you persevere in being deliberately
misunderstanding of my point? I perfectly well understand the
Law and the physics involved (and I thought it a little rude of
you to infer otherwise tbh) but I think the Law should be
amended to take into account the whole momentum thing
specifically. As it stands there is far too much of a grey area
and room for refereeing error in adjudicating on Forward passes.

I'd like to see players penalised for blocking chasers. Also
players preventing a quick line out by either hanging on to the
ball in touch, or by obstructing the ball from being thrown in
completely. Tackling beyond the ruck needs to be stopped too.
