I cant see us not signing a winger. We will be one injury away
from having to play someone out of position there. You cant go
into a season with just two fit first choice wingers, esp as one
(Ibitoye) still looks like he has a lot to learn. Brown is our
best FB, I don't want to see him on the wing.

He will definitely be in Japan, yes. And even assuming Italy
don't make it out of the group, he would be unlikely to be
available to us for a few weeks after that

Even if we don’t hire someone permanently, I’m sure we’ll use
some of the injury dispensation money. I know we have players
who can cover, but surely we can’t go in to he season with two
specialist wingers?
Whatever happened to James Short? A couple of seasons ago he was
deadly. He got injured and then he turned in to Exeter’s
invisible man. Someone like that on loan would be an OK stop
gap.

Henry Purdey and Cooper Vuna both sit precariously on the
"released" list of players. Maybe they have something lined up,
but either could cover Earle (with the acknowledgement that the
former is probably more centre than wing).
