I seem to recall Gustard saying he wanted a smaller squad so
this would imply more leavers than joiners. Plus we have some
versatile players who can cover multiple positions. Dombrand is
an example as he can play in both the second and back rows. I
could see a pack of Marler, Baldwin, Sinckler, Symonds, Lewies,
Dombrand, Robshaw and Clifford with Crumpton, Garcia Botta,
Collier, Kunitani and Chis the younger on the bench. Dombrand
would move into the second row after 60 ish minutes.
So I don't think we will see much more. Big Kev and Visser's
retirements must surely have been in the pipeline for a while.
The only "unplanned" event would be Earle's injury. I do think
we look very thin on the wing and hope they sign ideally 2
wingers. Otherwise we'll end up with Chis the elder and
Campagnaro on the wing!

Pretty sure that Horwill said he decided after the Worcs game,

So who is left out there now? Saw an article yesterday about
Jantjies looking for a move away from SA. Always think he's a
bit flakey.
Much more concerned about second row and wing tbh. Fly half we
can get by with Marcus as clear first choice and Lang/Herron
backing up.

Cruden is still available.
I am still confident that we will have a new lock and wing by
the time the season starts. It may be a case that we do not get
our preferred option, and have to make do for a season with
someone (not saying they will be naff, but maybe just not PGs
main target)

Jantjes is a very good player... Until he pulls on a Bok jersey.
Then he is definitely flaky!

We've got 3 solid 10s for next season - Smith, Lang & Heron -
can't see us necessarily rushing to bring in another as I think
we're probably banking on the fact that Smith won't make the
plan to Japan.
For me, whether we bring in another wing will depend a lot on
whether Murley is going to be fit for the start of next season -
Murley, Ibitoye, Campagnaro, Brown (with Morris/Chishlom
covering 15) is an ok set of wingers to start the season with. I
think Kunatani could play on the wing at a push too.
I do think we'll see a 2nd row come in - hopefully a big name
too.
