Prediction League final standings

Now that the final has taken place, it's time to reveal the
final standings of the Prediction league on SuperBru.
Congratulations to all the players who took part, but especially
to Shack, who came top. I'll be setting up a new league in due
course. All the people who played this year will get an
automatic invitation, and any new players wanting to join will
be more than welcome. I'll post a link to join when it's up.

Thanks FF - I thought that the system is quite good.
Personally though - after my flying start, I an disappointed not
to make the top 10 - It looks as though you overtook me on the
final week :-(

Just nabbed that 10th spot by the skin of my teeth, ns!
I like the superbru system too. A simple who wins & by how much
works well, and you even get some points if you predict a very
close game where the team you didn't pick wins by a point or
two, which I think is only fair.

Somehow managed to miss the last three rounds hence the tumble
down the table. Have always enjoyed the Superbru prediction
leagues but would still like to see a "Quins only one" based
upon the old Sportsnetwork version.

Happy with my top ten finish. Would do better if I stopped
predicting Quins to win every single game!

Agree, a very good system and really enjoyable. Have lost the
local bragging rights to Chipstead Quin though, so need to get
back earlier for pre-season!

Thank you for running it. I pick Quins to win all games as well
so fingers crossed those of us that do likewise will have an
amazing season next year!!
