2 regular games left...

Such a frustrating month or so. Been so close yet so far. We had
top 4 in our hands and now it isn’t but let's forget the last
few results for now and really get behind the lads in these last
two games and really push them on. Let’s go out and smash
Leicester and then go after Wasps

You maybe frustrated but we have suddenly hit injuries in volume
and key positions and key players you cannot fault the effort
they are putting in. There are 3 Robshaws instead of 2 playing
and Joe ans Sinks were awesome today

The frustration comes from being so close, despite the issues
mentioned.... but also i think the point here is two wins and we
should still be able to get that fourth spot.......
So once again Quins leave the fans with hope..... awful isn't?

Frustration is, secondary to our own sloppy finishing, the wind
and the ref, we really should and could have won that
It's not in our hands any more- we need Saints to lose a match.
I suspect they will, Vs Exeter, but by then Ex will have no
reason other than pride to rest players and take it easy and
Saints will have everything to treat it like a final.
All we can do though is get BP wins Vs Tigers (which we would
really hope to) and Wasps (harder but definitely within our
ability) and hope they lose or drop BPs

Do we think we will have Care, Crumpton, Horwill and Marchant
back in time to make a difference? I would say any of them would
vastly improve us (even with good players like Hidalgo-Clyne
there, makes the bench much better)

Yeah, me too. I thought the discussion had moved on to who we
wanted to play in the semi.

Injuries are one thing. We've lost 6 on the spin, if we had won
any of them we'd probably be top 4. We should have won 2, we
could have won 4.

I think we can still make the top 4. Tigers at home and Wasps
away are certainly winnable games and I’d back us to do it.
Ironically, our last two performances in defeat have been better
than in a good few of our wins.
TBH, even if we don’t, I think a bit of perspective is needed.
We’ve done a lot better this season than most of us expected.
If someone had offered me top 6 and a Challenge Cup semi-final
at the start of the season, I would have been more than happy
with that.
