To be fair I’ve heard a few people who have personal experience
of JP expressing similar sentiments about him.

I would offload him -what is he giving Quins at the moment -he
regularly gets whistled at the scrum and is a liability because
of his temperament -let another club deal with it 👎

I think he's become a very selfish player!
As for should we get rid of him I'm not sure but, if the rest of
the players can't get him to play more as a team player then I
would say bye!

Kyle's not from Battersea but from Tooting. He started his rugby
at 10 at Battersea Ironsides which is in Earlsfield. He's not
thick but as a player who plays on the edge he will sometimes do
things that are silly. He got rugby started at his state comp,
by going and having a chat with a teacher. And they became
decent from nothing.
The lad is not thick and I find it offensive that he is labelled
as a liability due to his perceived background. I don't play any
more but to the question whether I would prefer Kyle on my side
or on the oppo, there no contest. I want him in the same jersey
as me.

My concern would be of course that we let him go and he becomes
world class!!!

I just wonder what he thinks when he’s carded or subbed time and
again for the same kind of indiscretions. Is he annoyed with
himself or is he shrugging it off? My worry is that it’s too
much of the latter ... AFAIK, he’s not publicly expressed any
regret?
He’s his own worst enemy as he’s made himself an easy target.
Other teams set out to wind him up and take opportunities to
play on his reputation to get him penalised when other players
might escape censure (Wales vs. England springs to mind).

I genuinely don't think Kyle is that far out of line if you look
at it objectively. He isn't a nasty player, and he rarely does
anything that would count as more than a bit of niggle from most
players. What counts against him is that he's big, he's very
visible, and he's now in a vicious circle that because he has a
reputation for being a hothead, opponents tend to milk it and
refs tend to react to that rather than to what is actually going
on.
The clearest recent example was in the Wales game. He clattered
Anscombe - but the ref and TMO determined that it wasn't even a
penalty (because if they had, Wales would have had a penalty
kick from where the ball landed, which they didn't). Then he
makes what starts as a legal tackle on AWJ, who slips down in
the tackle and then milks it so hard you could hear the moo from
London.
And then the ref talks to Farrell about Kyle - who, let's
remember, has committed one legal blocking tackle and one
penalty that if it had been looked at by the TMO might not even
have been given - and Eddie takes him off. Which coincides with
England losing their grip on the game.
Kyle won't get dropped by England or Quins, because he's far too
valuable a player. Go back and watch the 6 Nations and look at
how many times he's used at first receiver and holds two
defenders for a fraction of a second before throwing a decent
pass out to the space that he has created. I don't think there's
any other player who creates the problems for defences that he
does.
But by the same token, he needs to realise - and realise fast -
that if he isn't on best behaviour he will be singled out by
refs. He needs the mindset that he will get niggle from
opponents, and that if he's getting it, it is because they are
afraid of what the can do, and the best thing he can do is suck
it up, revel in it and respond by doing whatever it takes to
stay on the effing pitch.

To be fair refs aren't singling him out, he's doing it himself
by acting like a petulant manbaby far too often.
