Did i miss the law change about taking the ball back into the
22, then being allowed to kick straight out? ???

The ref needs to be strong enough in the second half to follow
through on his threats. We need to be smart enough to make sure
we are not on the wrong side of any decisions.
The scoreline looks bad but we have played well. Smith is
looking good and Brown was excellent for his try. I really want
to see Dombrandt be given the ball with a chance to crash
through. Similarly, I want Charlie to have a run with some
space.
It's all or nothing now boys, just go for it!!!!!

Strange first 40.
I thought we looked good for the first 20-25mins but those 2
tries were a real sucker punch.
Clermont haven’t dominated us as I expected them to and if I
were PG, I think I’d just be teaming the lads to go for it. We
have nothing to lose and Clermont showed against Saints that
they do concede when they’re under pressure.

Well for 25mins we looked sharp and like we could scrap it out.
Can't see us coming back from that last 10mins of the first half
though!
But kudos to MB for one of his trademark "I'm so angry I'm going
to score whatever" tries 😀....worth tuning in for! #COYQ

Interesting that the ref says the ball went backwards right in
front of him, but changed the call on the advice of the AR who
was on the other side of the pitch.

Its not the ref Clermont could easily have been playing a HCC
semi.
He owes need to learn the difference between a maul and a tackle
though.
I am proud of how we’ve done i this comp and how we’re playing.
