Further to the investigation by The Daily Mail into Saracens and
Wray’s business dealings, Premiership Rugby are going to
investigate more fully.

Oh what a surprise.
Here's a lesson for those on here who love to write total
nonsense about journalism and making stuff up.
Regardless of outcome or if it's a breach of salary cap or not,
when Wray posted his clearly diversionary statement there was a
lot of "oh well there you go".
Well now it appears he hadn't told Premiership Rugby. Although
he said he did.
So it may well not be a dodge at all - but PRL didn't know.
But apparently rather than being a massive slur on Sarries
reputation like it was when he released his massive statement,
now it's just "a minor internal oversight".

My problem is that I have no faith in the whole set up. If a
club is found guilty then they should be punished. And that
goes for whoever they are, Quins included. Everything should be
transparent and open for all to see (in terms of findings,
punishments etc). No more stories of cover ups, threats etc. If
Sarries are found to be in the clear, because of what has gone
on previous, I doubt many will be satisfied that nothing
untoward has gone on, and you couldn't blame them.

The Sarries defence network will be sent out onto the other
SportsNetwork boards with much speed to counter this with much
shouting of "prove it!"
My feeling is that it'll be another slap on the wrists with the
threat of lawyers etc
