There was a young Quins prop
       who often had a strop;
out in the middle, he lost his head.
       When he was good,
       he was very, very good...
but when he was bad, it was horrid.

Currently Sinck is one of our top players. Did he has a moment
of stupidity on Friday night? Yes. Did he lose us the match? No.
I could list other issues from Friday such as decision making
(not taking points on offer, throwing interceptions), general
discipline, officiating errors (Dombrandt offside, Harrison’s
binding in the scrum) [I don’t like blaming officials decisions
as I think as a player I have influence over them so it’s down
to me so maybe this is players not help Wayne see Sale’s
       infringements].
To say Sinck should be a game changer or even leave is
ridiculous. It was the same fixture last year where Marler was
red carded which I would argue had a bigger influence over the
result but no one is calling for him to be benched or leave.
I hope Kyle does read this and I hope he stays at Quins for the
rest of his career so I can cheer him on from my seat at the
       stoop.

Kyle didn't have a good day at the office, but to say he cost us
the game is ridiculous. We should have won that at a canter, we
didn't even make it hard for them.

       Doesn't he play for Sarries?

At a canter? Come on - Sale's defence is top notch.

If we hadn't given away a daft interception try and countless
needless penalties it would have been quite comfortable - I
don't think Sale had a phase in our 22 in the entire game.

Sale started slowly but grew into the game. We started well and
grew out of it. Whatever you attribute our mid-game demise to,
we lost it fair and square.

We gifted Sale every point they scored. You could look at the
result on paper and say I must be an idiot (Or you could just
say it anyway) but i cant really recall them looking like
scoring without our gift wrapped presents. Early up, I sat back
and thought "Lovely little WBP" here. I thought we looked that
comfortable. Then the discipline started to go to pot and any
attacking threat we had went (Partly because we could not spend
any decent time in there 22 without giving them an easy out).
I think in general our game is in good order. Our scrum, with
the players we have needs to be better. Our LO with Crumpton is
solid. Attack wise we look dangerous and have tries in us.
Defensively we look solid and tough to break down. Problem for
me (And what PG and the coaches should be drumming into us) is
discipline. We put our defence under unnecessary pressure and
do not allow our attack a chance to pressure the oppo.
On one side you can say if that is the main issue we are in a
good place and that can be worked on, or you could say that we
have enough experienced players, captains etc that we shuold be
able to work on this and why is it a continued issue.
