He was Montpellier's 3rd choice 10 at the end of the season
before he joined us. Injuries have been unfortunate, but I never
expected much.

Err, no. He was their 1st choice 10.
Whatever, he’s pretty much finished after tonight you have to
think. Could be the last time (and only second or third time
anyway) he starts for Quins. I’m tempted to blame Gustard for
selecting him but sh!t happens. Thing is it really seems to be
sticking to Le Chat.

We all know why his confidence is shot , and it undoubtedly is .
He needs to drop down a level to rebuild some self belief
although I wouldn't be surprised if his playing days were up.
First big mistake Gustard has made for me .
Sadly although he coughed up the try he wasn't the reason we
lost , discipline , a hatful of kickable penalties did for us .
Ive haven't been quite so irritated watching a group of
individuals in Quins shirts for a long long time , poor show all
round .

I think it’s fair to say it hasn’t worked out for him or us and
leaving would probably suit everyone.
I actually thought he started OK and he made a couple of decent
chop tackles. The intercept was criminal - he couldn’t have
telegraphed that pass any more than he did, but my bigger issue
is that he didn’t do what he was brought in to do. He was picked
to play a more territorial game and get us playing in the right
parts of the pitch and failed to meet that brief.
As a slight side note in his defence, he seems to be getting the
blame for kicking to the corner rather than taking the points. I
doubt that was his decision - Horwill and Robshaw would have
made that call.

Agree, made that point about the kick elsewhere (although his
kick to the corner was about 5 yards or so too short). That was
criminal as it cost us a decent position to set the forwards off
from

Agreed. It would have been irrelevant if we’d taken the points
