OSS CHISHOLM AND WILL COLLIER BRING UP MAJOR MILESTONES AS
HARLEQUINS HEAD TO SIXWAYS FOR CHALLENGE CUP QUARTER-FINAL
Harlequins celebrates milestones for two its squad in the Club’s
European Challenge Cup quarter-final at Worcester Warriors on
Saturday night (kick-off: 20:15) as winger Ross Chisholm makes
his 100th appearance for the Club and prop Will Collier makes
his 150th.
Chisholm, who joined the Academy in 2009 and has scored 22 tries
for the Club, has started the past four matches at left wing and
is part of a back line that sees two changes from the one that
started against Saracens last week. Alofa Alofa is at Outside
Centre with Cadan Murley making a welcome return on the Right
wing following his time out, replacing the injured Joe Marchant
and rotated Nathan Earle respectively.
Collier, an England international who also started with the
Academy in 2010, is one of four changes up front as Kyle
Sinckler is rested at Tighthead with Lewis Boyce coming in for
the injured Joe Marler at Loosehead. George Merrick is in the
Second row as Matt Symons is rotated while Jack Clifford moves
to Number Eight for the rested Alex Dombrandt, and Renaldo
Bothma starts at Blindside.
Head of Rugby Paul Gustard said: “Both Ross and Will have served
the Club with distinction over the past decade both on and off
the field. They are great professionals and both have made a
huge contribution this season as we have progressed in the
Premiership and in Europe. We are proud to acknowledge their
individual achievements this weekend.
“We are pleased to have reached the knockout stages of European
rugby for the first time in three years but now we want - and we
need – to forge and create a new history at the Club.
“Worcester against Harlequins is always a strong, competitive
fixture and we have had two good contests against them this
year. I have no doubt that Saturday will be another one and it
is one that we look forward to.”

Both Marler and Marchant injured. Just hope it's only minor for

I'm surprised that with Marler injured we'd rotate out Kyle as
well. I can only guess that it's partly down to having to rest
him at some point before the end of the season under the
England/PRL agreement.

That's a long injury / not considered list. Slightly surpirsed
to see Saili on the bench with Alofa starting. Strong team while
resting a few for the premiership run in. Can't complain really.
Good to see Crumpton back but otherwise I'd say our bench is one
of the weaker ones we've put out this season.
Looking forward to them game, if not the cooach trips there and
back
