Out of interest, where do you see the BP wins? I’d assume on
current form, one is Tigers but Sale have only had one loss at
home this season where the oppo got 4 tries - Wasps at the
beginning of the season when Sale were pants.
Not saying it won’t happen but it’s a big ask, imo.
Likewise, Saints have only conceded 4 tries twice away from home
and won one of those games v Bristol. The other team was
Sarries.
So away at the Ricoh in the last round then.

TBH, I hadn’t looked at Saints’ stats on the road. I could see
that being a high scoring game where we just about outscore them
to pick up a BP win (with them getting a losing BP and a try
BP).
Your assumption was correct on Tigers being the other BP win
with Sale or Wasps being the non-BP win.

The long serving players usually have the attitude that they
got the Club into this mess so they should play them out there
is no reason why they can’t play for England. I find all this
talk of Tigers relegation quite distasteful. When we went down
we were very upset by other clubs Joy at our downfall.

Sorry why can’t we talk about Tigers going down? They’re not
being diagnosed with cancer, they’re losing some rugby matches
and maybe going down a league.
Distasteful. Blimey.
Guess we’d better not talk about who might win the Prem for fear
of being vulgar.

Well done Quins! I think that was a terrific win in tight
conditions. We have righted a listing ship and are now in the
semis, as opposed to looking back on three straight defeats and
scratching our heads about when the next win will come.
So, having watched Sale last night and now us tonight, I think
we have a chance on Friday if we play our strongest line-up:
Marler, Crumpton, Sinckler, Symons, Horwill, Robshaw, Clifford
and Dombrandt. Care, Smith, Earle, Tapuai (or Saili), Marchant,
Murley and Brown.
Our mentality and discipline just need to be spot on. Our skills
and quality are there in spades. We have got to want it. Today
was the perfect antidote to the home game v Glaws! Well done
boys!

Really? We scraped a win against an almost equally poor side. It
was a low quality game.

Yes, I think so. Getting a win is much better than three defeats
on the bounce and changes our self-belief.

I tend to agree. As someone said on the match thread, the last
time we played at Sixways, it was a similar tight game that we
lost. This time we won and we’re in a semi final. That will
surely give us a lift.
Conversely, it could be a sucker punch for Worcester. I expected
them to rest players for the game knowing that they’re firmly
entrenched in a relegation scrap, but they played an almost
first-choice side and lost. Heem also picked up an injury, so it
could be a costly g a m b l e.

Marler and Marchant both injured - so guess we’ll have to see.

The defence was much improved last night, but I think as has
been pointed out elsewhere that Wusd offered little in attack. I
thought the discipline was generally much better and don’t
remember too many daft penalties being given away - again this
is probably because we weren’t being stressed by the Wuss
attack.
