Assuming we get one more win from somewhere the Saints, Sale or
Bath would most likely need 4 wins from the final 5 games -
given how tight the league has been I can’t see that happening
and so one more win should see us into the top 4.

Ok, once again I'm obviously an idiot - hadn't factored in who
plays who around us.
I'm back to thinking we will just hold onto 4th but also that
our defence has sadly re-discovered some big issues that need
sorting urgently.

I'm optimistic of top 4. Sarries and Exeter will still want to
win their remaining games, to show dominance and (at this time)
I think they're still vying for top spot. Big egos at play.
We need to get a win in our next game to reverse the momentum.
Then I can see our confidence kick back in and we start to play
a lot better than the last two games. I think the Glos game
rattled our confidence, which was probably too high at the time.
Had we won that game, I suspect we'd have been better placed for
the Sarries game.
Also of interest is Tigers - it's possible that a defeat to us
could seal their relegation, if results in between go against
them, and the way they're playing that's not entirely
unbelievable. I wonder if their big names would stick around in
the Championship?

That's unfair. It's not always so obvious... ;)

Interestingly, this article suggests Tigers' big names are
stuck!

So as much as that would be high drama for the Prem, it would
also make next season's Championship season entirely pointless.
Have to say I'm still massively in favour of temporary
ringfencing. The Championship is not up to scratch.

Anyone know the dates for the Semis/Playoffs? My poor efforts at
finding out for myself have been unsuccessful.
Thanking you in advance.

Weekend of the 25th May, I am pretty sure.
Last game of the season is the 18th and the Final is the 1st of
June.

hoping the recent results give our defensive play the kick up
the rear it needs! but still feeling positive we'll hold on to
4th

Are we going to play the 1st team on Saturday? Or are We going
to rest some again? Marchant looked as though he might be out
for a couple of weeks and Symons finger was not good.
