       Harlequins awards dinner

       Can anyone answer why the awards dinner is not held after the
       end of season?
       I’ve asked a few people and nodoby seems to know
       I’m not thinking of going just wondered why we never wait until
       the end of the season

       I've been told in the past that it's so the players can get off
       on their hols straight after the last game.

       Plus it means that players who are going away on International
       duty can attend. I'd guess it's also easier to get players who
       are leaving the club to attend if it's before the end of the
       season.
