I thought WB did ok all things considered. And do "we" deserve
better? Why? Maybe have a chat to the RFU about becoming a
referee..... Or do you prefer criticising from the stands?

I was at the game yesterday, so I haven't seen any T.V.
What did Gustard and the various pundits say was wrong?

With the ref? Nothing.
With Quins - everything. Pundits said they just seemed baffled
by the whole game.
Gustard said we got what we deserved. We weren't good enough,
didn't try hard enough, lost 29 turnovers, weren't accurate,
weren't tackling, weren't physical. Said this and Leicester were
our two worst performances of the season.
To quote directly: "We had our pants pulled down on our own
ground."

Generally the lack of a penalty try with the deliberate knock on
and the forward pass for their third try seem to be the try
scoring issues. The yellow card for Marchant but not for any
Glaws high tackles and the constant blocking by Glaws not being
picked up the other couple of moans. As I sit behind the posts
the offsides and forward passes are not always that obvious but
the crowd on the sides normally give you a good idea about that
and I didn’t notice much shouting yesterday. I can however see
plenty of blocking and holding going on. Most teams do it but
some a lot more than others. There was a lot yesterday.Its never
picked up by the officials. Why don’t we do it more to get an
advantage. Gloucester were on fire yesterday and I think we
would still have lost but not by as much if decisions had gone
our way more.

Blocking and obstruction seems to be the latest thing that's
being dealt with fairly leniently IMO. All teams do it, just
some more obvious than others.

Utter tosh. Perhaps the odd mistake here and there, but nothing
major. To highlight chasers ahead of the kicker made me chuckle
- every team does that every time.

Yeah just to be clear, Gustard said the 3rd try was a forward
pass but neither he nor any other person from Quins or anyone in
the BT team said that Quins suffered anything from the
refereeing.
To keep banging on about it in the face of Gustard saying we
were utter dross seems a little off.

We really were just poor, the ref had absolutely nothing to do
with our performance - which was dire in pretty much every
aspect. I'm struggling to take any positives from yesterday.
They need to write it off, work their nuts off in training,
bounce back. That's all I ask now.
