We deserve better

I'm not talking about the way the team played today. it was not
a good day at the office and Gloucester were terrfic.
But OMG what poor refereeing and the TJs wre onpy there to wave
their flags in the air and not contribute. and even then they
seemed to get sopme of that wrong.
Love him or hate him Wayne Barnes is a bit marmite. When he has
a good game he is world class but this afternoon he had a
shocker. And that is what I'm talking about.... The
officiating of some of these matches is really, REALLY poor.
As paying spectators of a professional sport it is just not good
enough.
And please - this is not excusing abad performance by a Quins
team. Glocs undoubtedly deserved the win.

The sight of paying quins fans leaving early with 'huffs and
puffs' were not looking at W Barnes!

Barnes is excellent.
Teams are not getting robbed of games by decisions with the
notable exception of Wasps last week.

The one good thing about the match was that it flowed with a
decent ref you can’t blame the ref we were totally out muscled

They were robbed by the lack of a camera angle and the
subsequent inability to restart with a scrum (as time was up).

So - I'M NOT MAKING EXCUSES ABOUT HOW WE PLAYED OR WHY WE
LOST......
OFFSIDE - It did not exist today.
PLAYERS IN FRONT OF THE KICKER - every time Gloc box kicked
their wing was atleast 3 meters in front of the kicker.
HIGH TACKLES - I just watched a far worse high tackle by an
Irish player on a French player and very similar to the one
Marchant was sent off for. It was demed not malicious and not
dangerous but definitely a penalty. A penalty only given. So
why was Marchangt shown a yellow? I counted 4 definite and two
maybe high tackles by Gloc players on a Quins player - all
looked deliberate (rather than accidental) and potentially more
dangerous - why were they not picked up by the officials?
GLOC 4th try - their scrum close to our line. they push us
backward for a few feet before putting the ball in - quick out
and score.
COMMENTS ONLY ABOUT THE OFFICIATING AND NOT THE WAY WEW PLAYED

OH....
CLOSING THE LINE AT LINEOUT - I wondered why we lost a couple of
lineouts. then we had one directly in front of where I sit.
Ward to throw in and GLOC line up with him with no gap. PAGE 1
or have I got something wrong?
