Ok, so the formatting went awry, but Gussie himself not at all
impressed with the defence.
8 tries against bottom 4 sides, at home. It needs fixing if we
are to have a chance of top 4 or even top 6 with some of the
fisxtures we have coming up.

Premature in what sense?
It was a poor defensive performance after 15 mins.
It did improve - some our tackling didn’t - and I assume they
got a beasting at half time not to let the same thing happen as
last week.
If we play against Glos the way we played last week and first
half of this week we’ll get soundly beaten.

Yes was at the Stoop, and the only problem I had with what you
said last week was that we where appalling and changed that
Defence was yet again a problem, and think most agreed with that
last week, the problem was with the appalling comment last week

I don’t see what the big problem is. Yes we let in too many
tries but does it matter if we win each game with five points.
You can’t get more than five points from a game whether you win
36-26 or 100-0.

One doesn’t like to blow ones own trumpet but before the season
started I did post that we would finish in top 4 and was roundly
derided on here, I will go one step further and say that if we
do finish top 4 we will go on to win the play offs as in a one
off game on any given day Quins can beat anyone

Beat Bath next week and Gloucester the week after, then I’ll
start to believe that.

Points Difference does come into it if teams are tied in terms
of "Table Points" and number of games wone. With Gloucs only 3
points behind us, it could play a part in the final placing in a
few months time...

I think we may well just miss out on the playoffs. Bath,
Sarries, Enya, Exeter, and Wasps are difficult games and our
homes games are certainly no gimmes. That said, I think we could
manage top 6 and I’d be pleased with that.

Bath don’t look particularly impressive and while Gloucester
have beaten the top two in the last couple of rounds, both games
were at home with a full strength team against sides heavily
depleted by injury.
I’m cautiously optimistic that we can keep this run going.
