       I was looking for the crowd figure for the Auckland Blues vs
       Crusaders this weekend, and came across this report on the web.
       Interesting because it makes direct comparisons between Super
       Rugby, The Premiership, Top 14 and Pro 14. It does of course
       focus on New Zealand, but there's some interesting nuggets in
       there.

       I waded through all that and found this little gem..
       "...Rugby is in good health in the northern hemisphere. Their
       competition might not have the same excitement and talent as
       Super Rugby, in New Zealand at least, but crowds are excited
       nonetheless..."

       From watching Super Rugby, there are some very poor sides in
       there.  Defence, at times seems  optional and the refs do not
       seem to care too much about things like forward passes etc.

       For me it is back to the old argument of a running game versus a
       game involving all 15 players.
       77 points at The Stoop last Saturday dominated by running backs.
       How many of us are happy with that?
