That doesn't apply to football though , its pretty much every
night now TV money dictates , and if you put a Prem or even
Championship Rugby Game on every night of the week you would get
an audience , which means sponsors , which means £££ -
Its possible that CVC would like a 14 team Prem with 7 games per
week that could be on Thu Fri Mon nights , 2 on Sat and 2 on
Sunday...
I doubt CVC will be too bothered about how many go through the
turnstiles ..

Quite - they do not exist to care about how many people show up
at the ground.
That’s my whole on-going relentlessly dull point.
It’s going to severely damage the game - but not yet. Five years
- wonder what it’ll all look like.

It makes me uncomfortable when a person negotiates a large deal
and then shortly afterwards joins the outfit that were the other
side of the table.

But that's what they were specifically brought in to do, so it's
not exactly a surprise. Let's not pretend people were worrying
about what the commercial side was going to be doing.

Don't worry I'm sure they have plans for cardboard cut-outs and
inflatable fans with a crowd soundtrack for all future televised
games.
