       Lone Wolf
By: ShinyTyphlosion Date: February 1, 2016, 3:21 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
This is a very complex story thing I've created quite long ago.
Actually, it was a three-year roleplay, with so much stuff in it
I don't remember it all. But, I hope I can find a way to make it
an interesting story, so bear with me as I weave this tale back
       to it's former glory?

Once upon a time, there lived a pack of wolves, known as the
Children of the Stars. They were wise and powerful, and
undoubtedly highly respected. The pelts of these wolves were
unique; vibrant and beautiful. Each wolf had a star like marking
on their foreheads, a symbol of their ranking.
However, all good things surely must come to an end. One day,
the vicious pack known as Shadowpack, raided and killed what was
thought to be every single child of the stars, taking their rule
and drowning the once lustrous woods into shadows.
A she-wolf, her pelt a russet tangle, made her way upon a hill.
She was weary, weary from the memories, weary from running from
them. Her pack had been slaughtered by those wretched wolves,
Children of the Demented. She hadn't been able to stop them, she
had barely escaped herself, and sometimes, she even wished she
hadn't. She gazed at the full moon, shining brightly, almost
cheerily at her. It's not fair. She thought bitterly. Nobody
deserves to die the way they did. I shouldn't even be here now.
She shook off the thought quickly, glaring at the moon as if it
could read her thoughts. As if responding to her, a howl
sounded. It puzzled her. It couldn't be--
But it was! Her heart raced. It had to be. Only a wolf of the
Starpack could howl in that high pitch. Somewhat hastily, she
sent up a reply. The two wolves howled back and forth for a
while, responding to each other. Finally, she heard a frantic
crash from the forest behind her as a wolf emerged. He had a
brown pelt, mottled with green. The star on his forehead was
       unmistakable.
"I thought I was the only one!" He gasped.
"I thought the same." The she-wolf responded. "Earthstar, is
       that, is that you?"
"L-Lavastar?" He sounded even more shocked, almost to the point
       of disbelief.
"I..." Lavastar responded, looking as shocked as Earthstar. Just
       then, a deep howl sounded.
"Shadowpack!" they both said frantically. Both wolves ran.
       Together.

The wolves ran for quite a while, seemingly barely making it out
of the forest and into a nearby mountain range.
"I can't believe we escaped!" Lavastar panted.
       "Me neither." Earthstar agreed.
"Because you didn't." A deep voice growled from behind them. The
two wolves whipped around to find two more wolves, a muscular
black male wolf, and a wiry thin dark brown she-wolf. Seeing the
hostility, the male wolf dipped his head. "Hear me out first."
He paused. "We can't keep our pup," he said sadly, gesturing
towards the bright blue pup dangling from the scrawny she-wolf's
mouth. "The pack thinks we are out killing her. Her forehead,"
He nodded towards it. Sure enough, between the bands of
multicolored neon fur, was a bright yellow star.
Lavastar and Earthstar gasped. "An omen...?" Earthstar
       suggested.
       "It must be!" Lavastar replied.
"Will you take her, then?" the she-wolf asked.
"Of course!" Lavastar replied, taking the pup gently by the
       scruff.
"Thank you." The male said gratefully. "Her name is Lizzie, but
I know you have customs, so name her what you will."
"Splashstar." Earthstar said firmly. "Her name is Splashstar."
"Again, thank you." Both shadowy wolves turned away, and were
       soon out of sight.

Life was pleasant for the three wolves in the mountain range.
They were technically isolated, but they had each other, and
they didn't care about other company.
Lizzie/Splashstar grew up a fast, wiry she-wolf with a big
spirit. But though she loved her parents, she grew lonely, and
her urge to see the world eventually made her ask her parents if
she could leave. However, before she could ask, her parents
recieved a letter addressed to her.
"What's a letter, mom?" Lizzie asked.
"A human thing." Lavastar replied. "As reverse lycanthropes, we
are allowed to receive them from time to time."
       "Reverse?"
"Yes. Normal lycanthropes are originally human. We are
originally wolf with the power to become humans."
"Isn't that reverse of them?" Lizzie wrinkled her nose.
"Nope. We're the reverse ones." Lavastar carefully handed
Lizzie, in her human form, with pale skin, frizzy orange hair,
and crystal blue eyes that matched the hoodie she owned from one
of her father's business trips, the letter. It was a shiny
golden envelope, written in neat black cursive.
Cautiously, Lizzie tore it open to a manilla paper laced with a
golden frame. The handwriting looked the same. It read,
"Invitation for Elizabeth Galaxae to attend Lucian High School."
       Reading it herself, Lavastar gasped.
"Can I go? Please?" Lizzie begged her mother.
"Oh, all right." Lavastar sighed. "It starts in a few days, wait
for your father to get back from hunting and he'll get you all
       set up."

"I can't believe you're going to Lucian High School." Earthstar
said with a sigh. In human form, he was a large, tan and
muscular man, with messy brown hair and green eyes.
"Do you know about it? Mom said you did!"
"I have been there on a business trip," Earthstar replied. "The
dorms are two giant twin dragons, one cream and gold, and one
       black and purple."
       "Woah! That sounds so cool!"
"Indeed," Earthstar said. "Since the school is a school for
children of magical origins, the school divides every student
into one of two magicks: Lawful Evil and Lawful Good. Magic can
be used for good or evil, just the basic category of them and
what they are intended for is how you get sorted.
Starpack members are originally of Lawful Good, the magic of the
       stars and moon."
"So I'll be in the good dragon?"
"Yep. Only the top floors are dorms, though. Most of the school
is actually inside the dragon towers. The campus is only used
       for a few classes."
       "I can't wait to go!"
"Come on, then. We'll be late for your train if we don't leave
       now."

Lizzie sat on the train, watching as the landscape passed by.
The green forests, varying in shade from deep green to pale
jade, rolled by easily, only sometimes stopped by sparkling
lakes of water and small, craggy mountain ranges. She couldn't
believe she was leaving her home for something so new.
"Please put on your seatbelts if you haven't already. We are
about to take liftoff." The loudspeaker announced, before the
whole train shook. The train was shaped like a dragon, with
massive wings sprouting off the top. Magic was what was needed
to make the train fly, and it had plenty of that. Within mere
moments, the train was over fifty feet in the air, and the trees
and craggy mountain ranges zoomed by faster than ever.
After about an hour, "Please be prepared for landing. The school
is right below us." the loudspeaker informed. Suddenly, a sharp
drop commenced, like a roller coaster. Lizzie almost screamed in
enjoyment, this was fun! Quick as it had started, the drop was
over, and the train had landed.
"Welcome to Lucian High School. Please enjoy your stay here with
       us."

       ---------------------------------------------------------
The first thing Lizzie noticed when getting off with her bags
were the two ginormous dragons, rearing their heads and whipping
their tails. They were connected at the bottom, like a
two-headed Hydra. However, unlike the Hydra, the two dragons
were different colors, White and Gold mixed with Purple and
       Black.
A prim-looking woman, with extremely light green eyes and
close-cropped hair stood with a megaphone. "All first year
students, please come with me!" She shouted. A group of
first-years were already clustered around her. Lizzie sidled
into the crowd, next to a hooded figure. She could make out that
the mysterious person was a girl, with long black hair being the
only other thing visible. The cloak she wore was dark purple,
matching her hood. Her face was shielded by shadow.
"Um...hi! My name is Lizzie!" She tried to make conversation.
"And I don't care." The hooded figure replied. Definitely
       female.
"Aw come on, don't be that way!"
"I didn't come here to make friends." The hooded female growled.
"That doesn't mean that things don't change. You could still
       make friends."
"Understand me, bubbly. I don't want to. Leave me alone."
"Ooo! I like my nickname! You can be growly!" Lizzie said
       cheerfully. "See? We're already friends!"
"Shut up." The cloaked figure disappeared in the crowd.
"See you later?!" Lizzie called after her.
       "Don't count on it."
"And that's everyone." The woman called. "Now it's time to
reveal the sorting and forming arrangements. Elizabeth Galaxea,
you will be sharing a dorm with Lydia Darkwolf, as both of you
come from light magicks. Please come up here to get your dorm
       keys."
Lizzie made her way to the woman, getting her dorm keys. The
hooded figure came too, taking the other set.
       "Hey! We're roommates!"
       "Oh great." Lydia said unhappily.
"I'm not that bad! And we're friends already!"
"Not friends." Lydia corrected, storming off to the dorm.
"I have to go there too, you know."
       "That doesn't mean I care."
       "I think you do."
