Doctor Gamus tapped her dataslate against the table, a look of
frustration crossing her face. She hated politicians. She spoke
like one, and hated it. She keyed up another public radio
message, striding back and forth across her office until she got
it right and broadcast it to the world. Her eye twitched as she
realised how many strings she would have to pull to have her
words carry weight.
"In response to the Ravenfall's refusal to reconsider their
imperialist demands of a world that should be a scientist's
domain, the Firebrand Corporation will be preventing all trade
of the rich resources of the south, most useful in the
construction of military equipment and ammunition, I might add,
to the PainFall alliance. This will be through a combination of
sanctions, trade blockades and withholding of our share of the
resource.
I hope the other factions of this fair planet realise that
without these resources those who wish to claim and conquer will
be severely hampered, while our efforts to contain their menace
may grow ever more powerful. I hope these sanctions will only
have to remain in place for a short time before the Ravenfall
faction reconsiders it's borders. It would be unfortunate to
come to blows, especially when they would be on the back-foot."

Pure laughter left the beaks of the entire cabinet as this
message left the speakers.
"Did they not hear us." Cawed Lady Lark
"Let's try a second time to get it through their thick skulls.
What an act of sheer folly." Giggled Bigsby

"Firebrand Corporation, we've no want nor any need for the
resource you speak of. We are interested in peace among nations
and believe your aggression might be slipping through that guise
of yours. We suggest you cease this hostile chatter and let
nations whom will be affected by our borders speak if they so
chose.
Thank you and good day."

Borders...
Such immaterial things are often the cause of unnecessary
conflict. When one puts too much weight on a line on a map, they
often lose sight of what is and isn't. The division of the land
is not dictated by maps or charts. If one wants to claim land,
claim it. The passage of warriors and the building of facilities
will never be dictated by a drawing on a smug rich man's wall.
Only those who have the heart and will to take land by means
that stop all others from using it, can that land really be
theirs.
“Take what you want, for only then shall it truly be
yours”

A global channel opened from his quarters, a very bad thing by
protocol. Halifax picked up the mic and spoke into it, barely
containing his smile.
"I agree with the Primus. One just has to look to his capital to
see how hopeless borders are."
He placed the microphone down and switched the channel off. He
leant back and sipped some fire-whiskey. His grin was wide. He
knew how mad Tuir and the others would be, but for now, he had
won.

Brigadier General Mustang scoffed at the incoming message. Few
in this age were truly stupid. Even fewer let others see them as
such. But this man Halifax was both ignorant and made no effort
to keep the fact hidden. Mustang held very little respect for
the words of such a man, and as such his words meant little.
None the less, if one did not teach the foolish, they must deal
with the foolish in future. He leaned into the microphone
"You say "the primus" as if he is not a man of the highest
possible regard and as if he still of this world. The First
General of the Purge Nation, Primus Julius Purge is only ever
addressed as that and has since long passed on. His words are
the soul and essence of our Nation. He was the man who first
created, and led The Purge in the conquering of our world. We
have no quarrel with your people, but in future, you will show a
greater respect for the powerful and the dead."

Bigsby sat in his office confused at he message on his screen.
"Admin?" He repeated to himself.
"Admin of what? The radio? The world? The universe!?"
He immideatley turned off the radio and requested Commander Wren
to meet in private to check the message and also the satellites
for any new nations.
A while later
"Sir Tern. You've got to see this." Cawed Wren
"Yes Kylo, What is it that you've found?"
"That's exactly the problem Sir, there's no new nations present
on Alexatron VI and I can't get a trace on that message."
"Could it be?"
"I know what you're thinking and I can't confirm Sir."
"But this might be them, this could be the link we've been
looking for."
"It matches the same description as the last anamoly. But there
is no radio connection."
Bigsby scurried frantically around his office, he appeared to be
looking for something.
Over by a large set of drawers sat a jar. It's contents shone
bright like gold but it's texture was much like soil. On top of
that draw sat the only remnants of a world passed, the prized
heirloom of the original nation, our Mother Nation.

We've discovered unauthorised waves travelling the air. They
appear to have ceased but went by the name 'Admin'. We have
reason to believe that the obelisk may help us to relocate the
signals and understand you have a research lab outpost near to
it. We ask that you merely look into the possibility of finding
these enigmatic signals again. It may be connected to the loss
of our Mother Nation, please, just a mere moment to scan for the
signals. Many thanks from your ally, Ravenfell.

"So much silence. So much empty air. So little, yet so much to
explore. Kylo, have we heard anything?"
"Nothing Sir"
"Must've just been an anomaly like we thought, But still. We
mustn't lose hope. They disappeared so suddenly, and now without
a guiding wing, we've somehow grown. It is not essential to find
them but keep looking. Maybe the cosmic sound could lend some
knowledge as to why our wings were cut."
"Yes Sir, and if I may, I'd like to discuss initiating plan
F.L.I.T.E."
"Of course young one, but in good time. We must wait until the
time presents itself, like a worm on the floor, just waiting to
be stolen from this realm."
"Ok then Sir, I'll just mark it down as later."
"Excellent."

A lone Firebrand operative, one of the four ambassadors, walked
slowly from the gates of Sardegna. He was proud of himself and
of his glorious nation, but left with a new-found love.
A black bound book was clutched in his hands as he stepped
aboard the vehicle and departed. Flowery script entailed the
front, a simple statement, "Fascism". The manifesto of Sardegna.

A short and unequivocal message was sent to the Valgatians from
the Ravenfellians.
"Many thanks for the potato goods but it can't end this soon.
Firebrand must fall."
