This thread is a simple RP/chat thread between factions. You may
make different threads if you want to focus on a specific issue,
otherwise this thread works fine.

Unislan sends a peaceful telegram to all other colony's
requesting peace and respect.
A fat man in a bright coloured uniform sits behind a desk,
coating in displays showing the new town's construction and the
images of the other ships retro-burners. He laughs, gurgling as
the message rolls in and passes it up to his commander.
A strong man in a tight uniform, marked with the Firebrand logo
stands in the middle of a command centre. He nods to an
assistant the video starts rolling.
"Hail, colonists of the north. It pleases me to see so many
people already come to visit this world of ours. As soon as our
fabricators create our first Merchantman, I would be very
interested in trading with you. I should warn you to stay to
your end of the river - the tip, as it may be. That shall mark
our border. Areas 104, 93, 80 and back around to 81 are all
Firebrand property. The river can feed the both of us, of
course.
There are colonies to the south, but we have not yet made
contact. I intend to scout the valuable resources of this land.
Seems we could all make a profit off Firebrand's new outpost.
Tuir Gemmadon, signing out"

Tuir pauses after his message to the Republic, and orders
another message sent, this time to The Purge,
"To those to the south, closest to our fair town. I would
request your name, and a talk. We need to talk about land
allocation."

Head diplomat, Jemima Helsaya, takes over all proceedings with
the corporation.
"Greetings Tuir. We are more than happy to allow you these
tiles. Of course under this border agreement anything north of
that shall remain in our sphere of influence. Furthermore, we
ask that co-ordinates 66 and 67 remain free of your expansion.
If this is agreeable, we look forward to a peaceful,
co-operative, and of course profitable relationship with you.
-The Hon. Jemima K. Helsaya"

The messenger leaned his weight on the thick door, pushing with
all he could to enter the room. He strode quickly to the lone
desk and slammed his right fist into his armored heart in a
practiced salute.
"proceed"
"Sir, he said, we have received messages from a neighboring
faction, they speak of land allocation of western fields".
He saluted once more and strode from the room, gripping a small
message in his hand, waiting to be transmitted. It read simply,
"Firebrand Faction,
we read you. You wish to speak of land allocation, speak and we
shall listen. But let it be known we will not give any land that
is rightfully ours by proximity. If your proposal is just then
my Superiors will be informed and we can continue with
diplomacy. We Await your proposition.

"We, the ever pleasant people of Ravenfell and our humble new
city of Talonworth wish only the calmest of salutations to all
of our fellow colonies.
Radio chatter initially seemed hostile so we wish to clarify. We
are currently sending along with this message a rough image of
what we intend our borders to be at this time and what we
understand from other colonies. It is a vast world and I hope we
can all learn to share it. Cats of the Ninetails and the Space
Syrians, we understand such close proximity can be threatening
but if we stick to our closest borders and keep this civil we
can all get along. We are open to negotiation if you think that
this is not a fair divsion of the surrounding land. Kindest
regards, Sir Tern."

A man built like a wall with whips covering his body watches the
town being built. Maps are laid out in front of him showing the
positions of those close by.
"Get messages sent to Talonworth and Space Syria. I would like
to know who they are and their intentions. See if a deal can be
struck. Send a different message to Ludwickgrad and Republic of
Unislan, if deals cannot be made with the first two I want deals
with these to. Make sure you send them the whips, one for each
of their leaders and a copy of 'the whipping'. "
The messenger runs off leaving the man to stare hard at the maps

"Thank you 'Cats of the Nine-Tails' for your speedy reply.
Your messengers run much faster than I had anticipated. Have you
considered sending them to the Olympics?
Anywho, our intentions are simple we intend to peacefully manage
our borders as expressed on our map, is this ok?
We are but a peaceful race attempting to establish stability in
this ever changing universe. You see our old land disappeared
without a trace soon after we started our journey toward
Alexatron VI and although we believe we may never see it again
our hopes are high for this new bountiful land. Kindest regards,
Sir Tern"

Governor Miranda Rekt sat at her desk with a young man wearing
an dark grey suit with a dull green tie. They were examining
several important documents when Jemima Helsaya entered, backed
by a junior assistant, barely 16. The suited man saw the
assistant and subtly closed the files on the table.
"Miss Helsaya," began Rekt. Helsaya was eager to get to business
"Governor, a great deal is happening. We're receiving several
messages from factions to the east." The assistant produced a
map from his bag." One has suggested the following borders."
The Governor looked over the Ravenfall map.
"Tell them we agree, but make it clear we intend to move to the
east south east in the direction of 67."
"Yes ma'am. Another eastern faction sent us this."
Helsaya now handed Rekt a intricately made whip, a book, and a
transcript of a message.
"Very interesting. I'll read it right away. Best to know my
enemy." The governor looked at her head diplomat, the
understanding being between them that they had no intention of
making any enemies. She continued. "Well Helsaya, send a message
back to them telling them that we are grateful, and we look
forward to co-operating with them."
"Yes ma'am."
As Helsaya turned to leave, Rekt stopped her.
"Have your assistant do it. You're timing is impeccable." Rekt
looked at the man in the grey suit, then back at the Diplomat.
"We have much to discuss."

....that really it? Space Syria has arrived on Alexatron? Well,
prepare the drones...
The idle radio chatter cuts out as Tuir takes the stage, smiling
to the cameras as his crew run off their ready checks. A moment
later the light flashed red and he turned to Camera 1.
"Glad to hear that the others living on the Firebrand's new
outpost have similar radio protocols. This is a continent wide
message, announcing and warning that aggression upon the current
Firebrand lands, and in the future this whole world will be met
with equal force. Peace will be met with trade and peaceful,
quiet annexation."
Tuir adjusted the commanders patch and turned to the other
camera as his crew cut the feed and sent the new one to the
Republic of Unislan.
"Greetings Jemima. It is nice to see our neighbours act as a
friend, and not as a small dog. We agree to your terms, but warn
that limiting our access to the Obelisk may allow the strange
colonists that landed close to it unrestricted access. That is
something my scientists would be very unhappy to hear, and I
assume yours would too. Perhaps an agreement to secure access to
the Obelisk could provide the both of us a look at that strange,
black structure?
Tuir, out."
A glass of water, a hand motion and Tuir was facing the next
camera, sent to the Purge.
"Ah, Brigadier General - a man of military matters. That, I can
respect!
It's very simple, see we of the Firebrand Corporation have a
large sum of money, but what we don't have is access to the rich
gunpowder mines next to your Capital. I am proposing a trade -
you allow us access to tile 109 or 110 and we build a mine of
our own. You can then build a mine, and after that no-one else
could mine the gunpowder. This would lead to a shared monopoly
that could be exploited for great wealth between us. I
especially think your neighbours to the south would be
interested, or perhaps we could destabilise the situation in the
east? More weapons, more war, more reward for us? To sweeten the
deal, we also offer a long-term trade route between us - free
income, essentially. Our Merchantman will be the first deployed
if you agree, and we could build one for you - or perhaps you
might be able to build your own.
Commander Turi Gemmadon."
"Commander!" cried a man in military dress, currently sitting
with a headset as he studied the radio communications across the
isle, "We've intercepted an image being sent to multiple
factions - a map, of borders."
Turi strode over and the man slid back as he leaned in, staring
at the image, "Oh, these people are right bird-brains..."
