totally missunderstood here xD

Greek is der Grieche (male) or die Griechin (female) in German.
(again the ch xD)

Das, Der, all for english you need is the word 'the'

Hehe, articles^^ That's why I love English :)
But articles aren't only in German, also in Latin, Spanish,
French, Italian,... but they only have 2 of them. I don't know
why we don't...

yeah, i find them overly pintless, if you say he, you know your
talking about a boy you don't need to add more words to prove
the point

hmmm... maybe it's a mishmash of Latin and English. In English
you also have He She and It, but use only The. In Spanish you
have only He and She, but with articles (El and La). Maybe we
want to use the hardest way and use he she it with articles xD
Or maybe because German's a literature language it in this way
it sounds better.
But if you say Er in German you don't know you're talking about
a boy. e.g. If you say Er ist groß (=He's tall or It's tall,
depending of you mean a boy (DER Junge) or a tree (DER Baum))
It's just like in the Latin languages.
