I saw it and unfortunately I only liked one part of it and that
was Tarrlok. The rest of it was quite disappointing and there
were some major flaws going on.
At the moment, I'm trying to edit a video with Tarrlok and
Noatak but iMovie has been importing 2 episodes for around 8
hours now -_-

what did you think the flaws where?? i think it was so quick.
there should have been more of a brotherrly moment at the end
before -boom- as they just announced tarlock (dont care for
spelling) as a good guy, and then showed the back story, of
them, it could have had more of brother moments, like at the
end, allowing taarlock to fight then go with his brother. also
12 episodes for a season. come on atla had 20.
one more thing the romnce between mako and korra developed far
to quickly. He just broke with whats her face then tells korra
that she loves him. they should have had more on their romance.
kay ramble done.
but i did like the bit when aang comes in, and tenzins brother
is bomie (i was chessin about that)

Flaw number 1: Lin's sacrifice meaning absolutely nothing
because they caught Tenzin's family, defeating the point of the
end of episode 10.
Flaw number 2: Korra using firebending style to airbend.
Flaw number 3: Korra getting her bending back way too soon. It
could've been a major plot for series 2.
Flaw number 4: The disappointing avatar state, since there is no
way she could've controlled it that quickly.
I really don't like Makorra, I find Mako to be a jerk for what
he did to Asami. The finale was just too quick and could've been
spread out over the course of a few episodes.
Plus we still don't understand much about Amon or his motives.

The finale was incredibly fast paced, I did feel like it pushed
things a litte hard but it was one of the best things I have
ever seen. I found it was a bit hard to get into Tarrlok and
Novatak's story, just because it was pushed on us really fast,
there was hardly any time to react. In reguards to there not
being "brotherly" time on the ship, there is no way Tarrlok
could really forgive his brother for all that he'd done, and
right before he brought the ship down, Amon/Novatak knew this.
His tear, that was one of the most emotional things.
Amon/Novatak knew that his brother was going to do this, and yet
he did nothing. He could have easily stopped his brother, and
yet he didn't. But indeed we are missing a large gap of
information about Amon.
Makorra honestly was no surprise, Mako had had a lot of
indecision, and it was very very clear in the past few episodes
that he loved Korra more than Asami. Call me biased, but I
multiship almost every character in Korra. Mako was a jerk, he
did stupid things, and indeed he should apologise to Asami.
Lin's sacrifice, yes, it was worth nothing. But sometimes that
is how that is in war, right? Not everything goes according to
plan, besides it didn't matter because everything worked out in
the end.
Also, because Korra had not been taught airbending, there is no
way she would instinctually know how to airbend properly. Her
first reflex was to firebend, as it had been shown to be one of
the elements she was most comfortable with. I thought it was
fine. She also took airbending in a new direction, offensive
instead of defensive, and I appreciated that.
The fact that Korra got her bending restored in the finale means
that there is a huge plotline for season 2 that is crucial that
she has her bending, they probably didn't want to waste time
with this, especially when Aang is the only one that could
restore her bending in the first place, and it probably would
have just took up the same amount of time in the first episode
of season 2. As a plot line for season 2 it would probably get a
little boring.
Woa. Disappointing Avatar State? DUUUUUUUUUUUUDE.
.______________.
How was it disappointing? Every time Aang went into the avatar
state he was extremely angry or under intense pressure. In this
respect Korra is more levelheaded than Aang, Aang could not
control the avatar state for this reason. If Korra had Aang's
impulses for the avatar state, she would have probably gone into
the avatar state easily 5 times prior. Also "it's at your lowest
when you are open to the greatest changes" Aang's quote before
he restores her bending. Kind of self explanatory.
Eh, just my rambles on the finale.

i totally agree with what you mean, but korra was not patient so
how come when she starts crying s she wants her begind back she
gets it. and totally agree what a waste of a avatar state, gawd
i was waiting whole season for it. think ALTA finished better,
the only thing it missed was the zuko's mum.
also don't ya think it kinda skipped who had kids with how. Toph
and ? = lin. Who got with toph. What about sokka, gawd. Also
Zuko's kid then iroh comes in. Gawd that skipped a generation.
I think the new baby of tenzin is going to be important as the
season could have lived with out the kid.

baby looks like sasuke when he was a baby. (look at ep 247 of

I'm sure we'll get the generation gap filled in in the next
season.

Actually there's a book/manga called the Promise that is
supposed to fill in the gaps between ATLA and LoK.
And I finally finished my Tarrlok&Noatak video (After 11 hours
of waiting for the episodes to import -_-)
