I've heard about some people who are interested in Hetalia, so I
posted this.
Hetalia: Axis Powers (Axis Powers
ヘタリア Akushisu Pawāzu Hetaria?)
is a Japanese webcomic, later adapted as a manga and an anime
series, by Hidekazu Himaruya
(日丸屋秀和 Himaruya Hidekazu?).
The series presents an allegorical trivialisation of political
and historic events, particularly of the World War II era, in
which the various countries are represented by stereotyped
anthropomorphic characters. The main characters are the
countries which made up the Axis powers and Allies of World War
II, namely Italy (North Italy in particular), Germany, Japan,
United States, England (representing the United Kingdom),
France, Russia and China. Hetalia
(ヘタリア?) is a portmanteau combining
hetare (ヘタレ?, Japanese for "gutless" or
"pathetic") and Italia (イタリア?).[1]
This is to make light of Italy's domination by neighboring
states since the Italian War of 1521–1526.' - Wikipedia

My opinion: This show is amazing! It teaches you world history
much more funny as history class would ever do. You learn a bit
foreign languages, because sometimes the characters speak in
their original language. There is also a bit 'yaoi', but not
completely. Three couples are sure yaoi (GermanyItaly,
SwedenFinland and SpainRomano, the others are guesses or
imaginations by fans. The fan activity is huge, there are
cosplay events, amounts of pictures, even stories (e.g.
doujinshis). almost 40 countries have been published yet, but
fans added some, too. All in all you get addicted to the show,
learn something important with fun, understand history better,
get to know cultures and languages. Everyday there's something
new to find.

yes, they'e very long, aren't they? xD The film's longer, about
1 hour^^
So you choose the cute countries :P I don't like America so much
but i love his laugh.
I bet the next character you like is Canada and then Finland.
Lol, I prefer the rude countries somehow xD
