The Social Stigma Of Magic
By: Jaguar Spirit Date: February 27, 2019, 1:23 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Magic has been a social, religious stigma for thousands of
years, and in many cultures. People fear what they do not
understand. People hate what they fear because it takes away
their sense of control/comfort. People seek to destroy that
which they hate. To wipe it out of existence.
Magic is VERY dangerous for the practitioner for that very
reason. You become a possible target, even if religious
persecution is not in the equation. Only in this age have we
been able to somewhat feel a bit of freedom to practice.
However, there are certain cults and groups that take their
beliefs to such an extreme that they murder children/animals and
so on. That is not the blessing of the hierarchy...that is not
their intention...to have sacrifices of that nature, for
children and innocent people to come to harm. Those groups
operate under the belief that their sacrifices bring
daemons/gods to them. Chances are, it probably just brings
Pretenders or thoughtforms.
Those types of groups are extremely harmful to those who work
with the gods of the hierarchy. They work outside of the
hierarchy but do great damage to the REPUTATION and UPHOLD the
"dark and dangerous and evil" reputation that the religious
institutions worked so hard to instill in society.
It is a goal of this forum and the attached website which has
not been published yet, to DETACH from that image of
evil/dark/dangerous and focus more on ILLUMINATION and
KNOWLEDGE. In those, there is power, growth, ascension and
evolution and a state of godhood.
We are not Become A Living God.
We are not Become A Living Angel.
We are not Become A Living Edgelord.
In here, we WILL strive to uncover what the hierarchy of the
gods wishes to teach us and apply it to our lives as needed. For
each individual that story is going to read differently. But for
each individual, I hope that the gods and the members of COI can
be a voice of reason and wisdom and guidance for each other.

A VERY good quote from a blog:
If we really want to change how the world sees us we need to
post our triumphs and good things we do within our communities
and on our blogs and pages. We could use a director who isn’t
afraid to make witches look good and show the real truth about
what it means to be a practitioner. Not regurgitate this crap
and allow it to infest more of the internet than it already
does. Sharing and spreading this shit only continues to spread
the wrong message and fuels more fire and sparks or hatred in
our direction.
I read hundreds of comments about retaliation, burn them,
incinerate them, curse them. It makes us sound like a mob of
fanatics with torches. Basically exposing and highlighting our
propensity towards the kind of retaliation society already
believes. Revenge is a dish best served cold and silent.
Telegraphing one’s intentions so the world can see only enhances
the ability for media venues to highlight our anger and once
again spotlight the evil vile nature they expect from us further
linking us to these idiots who have no idea what it truly means
to be a practitioner.
To Know, To Will, To Dare and To Be Silent.
Our Gods will get their due and they won’t go unpunished. In my
opinion, we don’t have to spread this shit around to get it
done.

I believe it would mean that we don't evolve through abrahamic
angels.
