Incense

Incense is perhaps the oldest external tool used by humans to
aid spirituality. Selecting and using certain types of scents,
one can rapidly adjust not only the atmosphere of the room but
the atmosphere in the mind and spiritual body.
Incense can be used in a variety of ways. Some incenses can help
working on some chakras easier, while others can be extremely
useful for cleansing and protection. Mostly, they are used in
rituals while communicating with the Gods. Incense smoke and
scent cleanses the room, welcomes Gods to your house, and sets
the mood.
By manipulating the energies (through visualization and feeling)
in cleansing ritual, incense smoke can burn unwanted entities
and beings.
(Although you don't need incense to do such things, incense
smoke helps the process)
Normal cleansing ritual does not hurt unwanted entities but
forces them to leave you alone instead.
"Offensive cleansing" is quite advanced and should not be used
by beginners. In this ritual, incense smoke acts as fire in the
physical and burns whoever it's directed to. Burning in astral
is different than the way it happens in the physical. It burns
the 'soul' instead of the flesh. However, with time the soul can
heal %100. The time depends on how severe the burns are. Now,
performing this ritual without knowing what you are doing %100
can and will annoy the unwanted being or you might even get them
mad. Be completely sure you can handle what comes after.
Successfully performing the ritual will drive away the entity
(hurt) and your wont see them any time soon.
This is why incense has been used so extensively by so many
cultures since ancient times. It has variety of ways to use and
if you are adept at manipulation of energies, incense smoke is a
very useful tool.
Finally, incense can actually be a very practical and useful
tool in keeping a pleasant and relaxing home. No matter what
purpose you use it for, incense has the power to completely
alter your frame of mind in a matter of seconds!
There are variety of incenses you can use.
Amber
Amplifies energies, plain and simple. However, be sure that your
house is clean (energetically) because Amber has no cleansing
qualities and will amplify ANY energy, good or bad.
Sandalwood
Said to be Enki's personal favourite incense. It has many
different uses. More sweet sandalwood scents are better for
clairvoyance (third eye and third eye chakra) as well as
divination. While more earthly scents are good for meditation
and offerings since it has better cleansing qualities than the
sweeter scents. Its also good in healing works. One of my very
favorites. www.fredsoll.com has a WONDERFUL array of incense
selections made of very high quality material. His incense for
sandalwood smells like candy. Mmmm.
Dragons Blood
Best incense in my opinion to use in cleansing rituals (also in
offensive Banishing ritual) along with white sage. It has
shielding and amplifying qualities. It's also a good offering
for the Gods and in energy works. Has good sexual energy if
worked with. However, not very popular in chakra workings.
Frank Incense
Although it has been used in the temple of Baal (Enlil) in
Babylon at the time, this specific incense has abrahamic
religions energy attached to it. Christianity and Judaism's use
of frankincense for the last couple thousand years has
associated the smell with their specific energy. Since
frankincense is used by abrahamic regions extensively, it is not
good for neither cleansing nor offering. This will most likely
attract abrahamic entities to your house if you don't have any
special/emotional connection to this incense.
White sage (Incense)
Perfect for cleansing rituals. You can burn the white sage leaf
and after the ritual is done, white sage incense. Good for
setting the mood for meditation. Has very powerful
cleansing/banishing qualities

A Few you can add: Pine, Juniper and Cedar.
I just got a fresh small batch of the 3. My favorite naturally
to use is Pine.

I LOVE pine. I have some pinion pine oil for the skin...just
coconut oil with pine essential oil...but it smells lovely.
I also have cedar oil and I LOVE it too. I use it in making
soaps...I add sweet orange to it. I've also added rose to it. In
the tub, too.
I'm just really stuck on Sandalwood. It smells so sweet like
candy. The brand I mentioned is the only kind I like. I have
cones from WalMart but they're nasty in comparison to the actual
resin sticks. Whole world of difference. I also have sandalwood
soap from India but it's very perfumey.

I use Mugwort a lot. It helps me get into a deeper trance,
though there's the unfortunate side effect of mom thinking I'm a
stoner.. Usually when doing a larger ritual I have sandalwood on
the devotional altar, with Frankincense resin and little balls
of mugwort in my incense bowl on a hot coal
