Hello, I go by Akashiel in the wonderful realm of the interwebs.
I like to consider myself a Finnish traditional witch, as that's
what I've practiced the longest (Over 20 years of my current
incarnations 31 years of existence) I'm also pretty heavily into
runes(well...norse magical practices in general) , MAS Primal
craft and daoist sorcery....and have a habit of incorporating
whatever I find interesting into my practice after seeing if it
works for me. Deities I feel closest to are Skadi, Freija,
Hekate and Lucifer.
On the mundane side I like archery, martial arts and making
things, whether its leather, wood or metal...mostly bushcrafting
stuff, ritual items or supposedly obsolete weaponry. Also I'm
usually pretty active on BALG.

I was going to make up a spirit animal name but ended up with
this more foreboding one. I'm a writer/poet and sometime artist,
that left the Druid path for personal reasons not my own. So it
means I'm not real close to any gods goddesses atm. Kind of
shipwrecked here. I have worked with angels and other darker
beings at times, although currently am just trying to keep a
mundane existence from going belly up. No time for religion.
Magick on the other hand I do as I'm always learning something
of spiritual nature, many things got dropped, the darker being
one of those.
Speaking of spirit animals some of mine are or have been fox,
wolf, owl, horse, butterfly, chameleon and armadillo. Strange
conglomeration. Some have been with me forever others more
recent and some come and go so fast I can't remember them now.
Anyway, glad to be here. Seems a friendly place full of nicer
people than some forums I've been on. lol I like to laugh a lot
and make fun for others to have a laugh too. Cheers!

Welcome! I think our range of spirit animals is really just what
we need...and those particular animals fulfill that for us. Mine
are black Jaguar, mountain lion, fox, owl, snake and.....African
hedgehog. haha. It is learning what each of those animals
aspects are that we need to pay close attention to.
I'd really like to keep the atmosphere here friendly...more like
as though you were all in my living room, sitting on cozy
furniture and discussing while drinking chai tea or coffee.

I believe you have something unique to offer this forum.
Traditional practice by those who live in the region is somewhat
of lost art/knowledge that perhaps you can share with others if
you choose. I have past lives in Scandanavia, a few different
ones, so I feel very warm towards the practices...as though
comfortable with it. Not likely from my very last one, since I
passed while I was still a child. But I do recall the forests
and the snow and the traditional dress.

Hello everyone !
You can call me here Neciphel, i'm from france and i'm 30 years
old. I have different nicknames around the web but i don't know
why here it's the one I resonate with.
I have been told I would find appropriate answers here or maybe
a state of mind here :).
I have been dragged into the occult and universe of Magick since
two years (and have studied more seriously since one year).
Currently I find some echos in the Left Hand Path philosophy and
luciferian ideas. This is for me an echo of self improvement and
inner quest, and of course a vision of how to find answers
inside of our inner world.
This is strongly linked with my current activity : hypnosis and
self improvement. Out of the professional activity, i'm finding
a lot of crossroads between esoterism, psyche and hypnosis. In
my view, the deep work about ourself cannot be achieved without
seeing the whole of ourself, and i mean here shadows and lights.
The best, the worst, the ugly, the beautiful...using inner
alchemy to accept, transform and use it.
I’m fond of Chaos Magick, which can link (using sigil magick)
art, symbols and knowledge and most of all : creativity. I use
it with my own ethic code even for myself I think twice before
drawing one.
Which brings me to a personal belief : there are no black /
white magic. Only subjective morality of what is "good or bad"
and ways to split things to be convenient to human brain and
mind. Something appearing destructive could be something
powerful to create and protect. And a good thing, a heal or a
cure could be bad if it's against someone's will or its evolving
path without asking him. Other concrete example : a savior is
not a good posture to help someone.
Occultism and esoterism are linked to an infinite inner quest of
knowledge…but sometimes this quest has to end in order to
practice. The more I discover, the less I know. And there can be
a lot told by people and that's why i keep my sceptickal mind
(my past was linked to science and computing sciences until life
made me discover energies my limited view of the world) .
And about this i’m currently lacking of practices not knowing
really when it’s “ok” about knowledges and preparations, and
humility. Sometimes i have the feeling that reading different
views that you are never “prepared”. And as I think you have to
show respect to humans or alive beings it’s the same for
entities and the invisible world.
I’m also interested in Goetia today and demonolatry, and
specifically one of the watchers has drawn my attention (Aym).
I'll know more with time i guess...I have not evoked yet
consciously nothing. I'm experimenting, I'm finding and before
manifesting something, I deeply work on the "true intention" and
"true will". This is also linked with self-improvement activity.
I'm fond of gods of death, linking to natural evolutions and
changes, and one goddess I love is Kali.
At this time runes and astral travels are also subjects i'm
interested in. It's the beginning for runes, and I have not yet
succeeded in exploring through astral. Hypnosis too is more and
more giving me tool to calm the mind along with meditation.
I have yet a lot to discover with humility.
(I’m sorry for mistakes about english, I had a rather good level
before but i’m not sure of it now)
