       All about Patrons

       A patron or matron (depending on god/goddess) is a teacher that
       usually YOU select, though sometimes they kind of wiggle their
       way into your life and insist on being your own personal guide.
       The patron/matron is there for your best interests. They will
       work on guiding you towards your next steps, healing old wounds
       (shadow work), opening up your skill-sets through aspect
       unlocking, protect/love you (even from yourself), motivate and
       discipline you.
       This is a position of great trust between teacher/student. This
       often (though not always) can end up even being a relationship
       because you bond and grow together.
       Many people are certainly capable of self-guided learning.
       However, a patron/matron can definitely speed up that process
       with their relentless teaching style. So, it is not an absolute
       necessity but is often mentioned.
