       Shielding

       Shielding is very important. This is how I shield.
       I sit like this:

       It is very important to keep those fingers and hand positions
       like so. It creates a "circuit" for prana to move through fast
       and hot. I extend the prana out of me either through my hands or
       through my solar plexus. I create a mass of energy around me,
       like bubble gum in the mouth...I blow it outward so there is a
       "shell" around me. I program that shell with whatever I
       want...by telling it to look like or act like, or filter like
       whatever. Shields must be maintained...or set to self-generate.
       Without being programmed, shields are weak. There are endless
       ways to program your shields. You can armor them, you can mirror
       them, whatever them. I'm very creative and also rather extra
       about it. I probably overdo it. Rather have it and not need it
       than not have it and need it. Do not get complacent with your
       shielding. Do it daily.
       Once advanced enough, you can directly power shields with energy
       from the realms instead of using your own. So you can get
       started with it, but maintain the generation of the power of
       them with other sources. You can even power them with Earth
       Energy.
       I highly advise that you never enter the astral realms without
       being fully shielded...including shielding the tether that ties
       your astral body to your physical form. There are a-holes out
       there who WILL kill you by severing that tether...just because
       they can, or just because there is a grudge. I've seen evidence
       of this bragging on other forums.
