       Know what you are getting yourself into BEFORE applying!

       [center]Being an operator is not all fun and games. Lets see..
       1) You must check every report while online. Failure to do so
       will result in a dismissal.
       2) If you abuse, you get demoted/fired almost instantly.
       3) If you flame against a staff member a player, you have a high
       chance to be fired.
       4) If you ask for a promotion, you have greatly just reduced
       your chances to be promoted. They key to being promoted is
       simple: Do your job
       Here are the operator and admin rules to abide by in all
       servers. Of course, some things will differ within
       servers[/center]

       someone else can be very annoyed by it.
       2. See to it that players follow the rules at all times.
       3. Responding to a report is a priority, not chilling out at
       mount Chiliad with a friend. Especially when you're on
       adminduty.
       4. Do not attack players when on admin duty (would be
       breaching rule number 1) unless it is to EXTRA check on a health
       cheater. Check health cheaters with the appropriate commands:
       /die, /explode, /burn.
       5. Don't flame players, respect them!
       6. Do not argue with players. Ignore a provoking player,
       mute him or use /dnd.
       7. Use /AFK when the server has over 60 players and/or if
       they are being AFK in an annoying place.
       8. You have the privilege of spawning vehicles, but you are
       not allowed to spawn vehicles in order to get an unfair
       advantage over other players. It includes (but is not restricted
       to) spawning vehicles to avoid being killed.
       9. You are responsible for the safety of your own account.
       Use long and complex passwords, in game, forum, restricted
       sites, ... Change them regularly.
       10. In order to remain in your position be active. Either on
       forum or in game and do the admin or operator job!
       11. Do not ask for promotion to higher level admins OR annoy
       higher level admins with anything related to you and your
       position, except for the admins that that are defined as 'HR
       manager'.
       12. Obey higher ranking admins. Treat them as royalties!
       13. Help new operators and/or admins in the best way you
       can.
       14. Regularly check these rules for updates.
       15. Do not (especially not publicly) fight/argue with each
       other. If we catch you fighting with each other or flaming at
       each other we will have no choice but to demote/remove you after
       one warning. Don't flame nor provoke other admins for joking
       either.
       16. Unless it's a clear mistake do not unban players that
       are banned from other admins. The admin that banned the player
       should agree, if no consensus i will decide.
       17. Level2+ admins check ban appeal section regularly.
       Failure in doing so can result in demotion to level 1 so you
       can't ban anymore...
       18. Be a role model for the players, don't swear, don't
       break rules, ...
       19. Resigning your admin position means you resign, you have
       less chances of getting it back later in time, and you will have
       to wait 3 months before re-applying, and/or being hired, no
       exceptions.
       20. Only level 4+ admins can host events. They possess the
       proper commands and/or knowledge to bring an event to a good
       end. This includes small events like: bus-tours, quizzes, hide
       and seek, ... Level 3 and below are not allowed to organize
       anything that involves distracting the players from the normal
       gameplay. If a level 3 admin is explicitly defined as
       'event-admin' he can host small events with the permission and
       under the supervision of a level 4+ admin.
       21. Maximum of 4-5 events a day. Not more than that. It can
       be any events but only 4-5 a day. And those 5 events are not to
       be done by the same admin and there should be a gap of 2 hours.
       Events ruin game play for some people so its best to lower the
       rates of Events. The maximum is 5.
       22. Level 4+ admins can only give random score according to
       the level they have. For example: Level 4 can /giveallscore 4.
       Level 5 can /giveallscore 5. Level 6 can do 6 and level 7 can do
       7. This rule does not apply on rewards for events.
       23. Don't give out skins to any player except yourself, we
       need people to donate, and they can change their skin once they
       donate to the server.
       24. Only english in Operator and Admin Chat.
       25. Above all you are not allowed to do anything that is
       against common sense and/or violate our standards. While playing
       the only benefit you have over a player is spawning a vehicle,
       the gameplay must be followed as a normal player would be able
       to. (including but certainly not limited to using
       class-abilities in certain vehicles for example.)
       26. When a report comes in the highest level admin that is
       checking the report will /ban the cheater if found valid. If
       lower level admins didn't see a higher level admin use the lspec
       command on the reported player, it's up to them to ask in the
       admin chat if a higher level admin is checking that report. If
       no reply after 5 chat lines the lower level admin may take the
       ban.
       27. No lvl3+ admin can be banned, demoted or fired without
       the direct permission of me (exo). If you, as staff member, are
       demoted or fired you need to confirm with me (exo) directly. If
       a staff member is causing damage with his actions (like
       massively banning or kicking players, causing the server to
       crash with admin commands or anything similar) the staff member
       can be removed asap by a lvl4+ admin.
       28. The only people that can take action or reply on a abuse
       report in the 'abuse report' section are level 5+ admins, the
       one reported, the one reporting, those that can talk in the
       defense of the reporter or the reported as a witness and those
       with explicit permission. Quite obvious you don't lock a report
       against yourself.
       29. Admins with high level clearance can only be
       fired/demoted/banned by the community owner. This rule overrides
       admin rule 27 entirely!
       30. Play with honor and don't do anything lame, staff
       members are not allowed to go kill/attack newbie players in
       their own home base. Rather protect new players in their home
       base from attacks of enemies.
       31. No actions are to be taken on VIPs unless they are
       clearly and/or intentionally ruining the gameplay of others, in
       this case i (exo or xsniper) need to be informed immediately.
       Donors breaking small rules need to be reported to me (exo or
       xsniper). You can ask the donor directly via a pm to cease any
       rule breaking rather than /warn, /kick, /tban, /ban, ... etc.
       32. The excuse "i was joking", "it was a joke", "we were
       joking", "we joke like that all the time", "we're friends and we
       just joke", ... or anything similar will not be used nor
       accepted for breaking any player rule, staff rule, forum rule,
       teamspeak rule, server rule or any other rule that is set up
       related to this Community.
       33. Disorderly conduct (insulting, trolling) or the breakage
       of any staff rule outside of the community (facebook, irc, clan
       forums, etc) is punishable and would lead to a discharge from
       staff
       34. You are required to provide your unconditional support.
       There is simply not enough time nor the desire to explain each
       and every action and decision in detail made from high level
       admins and you need to trust and accept they are made for the
       benefit of the community.
       35. Staff members are no longer allowed to report (possible)
       abuse of an other staff member in a public section or any means
       that are viewable by others, including other staff.
       Participating and teaming up (aka starting a witch hunt) against
       a higher level admin or failure to report such behavior from
       others will result in heavy counteractions. If abuse of a higher
       level admin is severe enough it goes directly to community owner
       in private and decent manner.[/quote]
       Read them, print them, read them again, frame them, admire and
       read them again, hang it over your bed, read them every night
       till you know them all!
       most importantly, if you wanna stay in the staff, follow them to
       letter!
       and just a hint to you: lie as less as possible and start
       realizing that there are people that are brainy enough to see
       through your lies. also in real life!
