       Suggestions for new app

       Now - in an effort to 'get our ducks in a row' - I'd like to put
       something out there to the valued members of 'The Code-it
       Brotherhood' as well as to any folks on this newsletter mailing
       list...
       As you all most likely know -I've been requesting ideas for the
       next app to be released (03.01.2014) to the Code-it Brotherhood
       membership.
       It seems that most members have, in the past, registered and use
       the 'Solutions' set of audio tools which is not going to be
       supported for much longer (there will never be anything added to
       it other then to fix any major bugs that are reported).
       So far - the biggest request for development has been to create
       a new version (update the apps/ tools within) of 'Code-it Audio
       Solutions' that WILL be supported and; therefore, subject to
       revision, customization and re-branding to and for the
       membership.
       While it was never my intention to ever go back to creating/
       developing a new version of 'Solutions' (I thought I'd be done
       with it!) - after getting these concerns/ comments/ requests
       from the membership - I think it might need to be done, but in a
       revised/ different way (new GUI/ look and other factors being
       changed).
       I've got my ideas of how to do this but would really like YOUR
       comments and ideas! The factors that I think need to be
       addressed are:
       * IMHO - 'Solutions' ended up being very 'bloated' - in other
       words there are way too many apps included that are/ were never
       used by the majority of users.
       This factor makes me think that the software needs to be easily
       configured/ customized to the indivisual members needs instead
       of making it an 'one for all solution'.
       * the GUI (looks) of the software is ole fashion look'n. The
       main interface, as well as the tools, needs a major make-over.
       * the new version needs to be supported - in other words 'to be
       reborn/ a new life'.
       My ideas on how to do this - your mileage may vary so I PLEAD
       for your input:
       * the main 'portal'/ menu being presented in the same order as
       the 'Password Keeper' and 'Shortcut Runner' app - in other words
       a widget type app that looks/ conforms to their looks that's
       displyed on your desktop.
       * the main app will come with 10 or 12 most used tools and the
       the user will have the option to add/ subtract/ configure as
       wanted - at any time. The 'apps/ tools' being easily downloaded
       by the user and added to the main app as, more or less, a
       'plugin'.
       * most all future developed (audio type) apps will also be added
       to the 'plug-in' list of apps that can be added/ activated from
       this widget portal.
       THIS WILL/ WOULD BE A MAJOR INVESTMENT IN DEVELOPMENT TIME - SO
       I URGE ANY, AND ALL, MEMBERS FOR YOUR INPUT! (i.e. should I
       scrap this idea and just move on to creation of completly new
       apps, what apps do you use most often that should be included,
       etc...)
