How To Create A Clan.[READ]

There's alot of empty clans or clans who aren't active or gave
up. This is a waste of time and board space, so, having an
organized thread with alot of useful information will be a
requirement for having your own clan-thread, as this will help
your clan survive.
The minimum requirements for having a clan thread are:
- A clan name, both in the title, and in the thread (a
recognizable logo would be nice as well).
- Clear instructions on how to join, and the requirements for
joining (if you have any)
- Explanation of the clan. (What we like to do, what languages
we speak, what team(s) we prefer, etc)
- Ranks(if you have them), and an up to date roster of every
single member
- A list of allies/enemies (if you officially have any)
- Application format (If you have a separate website, this is
not necessary, but is still recommended)
- A link for your own forum / website (if you have one).
- Please post your inactivity in the clan activity check located
at the top of clans section.
- Thread Subject that indicates if you are currently accepting
applications, and what you're tag is (if you have one):
[TAG][CLAN NAME]Application Status: [OPEN/CLOSED]
Example: [FO]Fuck Off [Applications OPEN]
PS: If the thread is in another language, please post what
language it is in English, so whoever wants to read it can use
google translator; or better yet, translate it to as many
languages as you can. If you have trouble translating it, ask
someone for help (Smit can help with english and spanish, pm
him).
If you do not have a clan-thread that meets the minimum
requirements, or your clan is inactive, it will be removed from
the Clans Board. Clan threads will be administrated by COD Heads
Of Clans.
Since some time, I noticed that many clans tend to do a lot of
things that are against the server rules, and to do some things
that aren't against the rules, but against what we call "common
sense". Therefore I decided to make a few things clear so that
abuses and other kind of wrongdoings don't happen anymore.
ALL clan members have to respect all the following points:
1) DO NOT provoke other clans, in any way. It includes (but is
not restricted to) calling them "XXX clan are rpg addicts", "XXX
can't fight without hunter/tank", "XXX are pussies", flaming
them, cursing them, harassing them, or anything else that would
result in someone pissed or angry. Be nice!
2) You are allowed to set a few rules that your clan members
have to respect. However, you are NOT allowed to set rules that
would go against the server rules or the server's gameplay. For
example, you are allowed to force your clan members to play in
only one team. For example, you are NOT allowed to forbid your
clan members to shoot each other in cases when they are supposed
to be enemies game-wise! By this, I mean that when 2 members of
your clan are in the DM arena, they HAVE to fight each other and
they are not allowed to team up, as the DM arena is meant to be
a Free For All place. Same goes if your clan members are in
different teams: they HAVE to fight each other. There is no
peace in war!
