Suspend Training and Rewards Budget Items

Until we've sorted out our funding model, we should suspend the
training program and volunteer rewards program.
The training program used to require that the recipient
coordinate events for the COC in exchange for training
reimbursement. I'm not sure if that's how it has been working
all along. Here's how it was described pre-2010:

We can set a training budget of zero for the coming year without
having to change the program - it would just be that no requests
for reimbursement would be approved for this year.
The volunteer rewards program is not motivating for volunteers,
and thus is not, in my opinion, a responsible use of member
money. I would suspend this one indefinitely - a future
executive team can look at reinstating it. For now I want to
give "motivated by heart" instead of "motivated by money"
another chance at fueling the COC volunteer team.

1000% in agreement. Funny I just finished writing an email that
sounds a whole lot like what you just outlined there Rhonda.
Wish I had read your post first, could have copied/paste and
saved myself a lot of time. lol
