       Form Special Committees

       We have some work ahead of us this year.  Some items that I
       would like to tackle include:
       - Bylaw Amendment Committee:
       --- Removal of Premier Member type and tie voting rights to
       being an Active Member of the club
       --- Any other bylaw changes that we might want to include in an
       update for 2021
       EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS: Rhonda, Julie, Leonard.  Who else?
       - Covid Guidelines Committee: As Alberta's Covid guidelines
       evolve, the COC's guidelines will have to evolve with them.
       This committee will perform the ongoing duty of following the
       Province of Alberta's evolving guidelines and ensuring that the
       COC's guidelines adhere to those provincial guidelines.  The
       committee will also recommend additional guidelines for
       the COC, which may be general for the club, or may be
       event-type-specific.
       EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS: Rhonda, Leonard.  Who else?
       - Event Scope Committee: The new executive wishes to explore the
       options of (1) canceling the executive insurance held by the
       club, and (2) dissolving the registered society status
       of the club.  One question which will be needed to inform an
       appropriate decision is, what should the scope of the COC be as
       far as event risk under three levels of protection:
       a) Waiver and Alberta Law only (no insurance, no society);
       b) Registered society, but no insurance; and
       c) Registered society, with insurance (today)
       This committee will make recommendations to the Executive Team
       regarding event scope for (1) simple safety/protection of club
       members (legalities aside), and (2) legally, speaking,
       what our scope should be at each of the three levels of
       protection.  The Executive Team will use this information as one
       of the considerations for making future decisions regarding
       insurance and society status.
       EXPECTED PARTICIPANTS: Rhonda, Marcel, Julie.  Who else?
