Mark moved on to another team so we won't have to move the
schedule around like I previously posted...
The Schedule is filled for the TEST Event this weekend! Please
post here if you have issues with anything, we'll work it all
out. ;)
As for the Race event (Jan 31 -Feb1) we have an open time slot
from 15:00 - 16:30.
Bill seems interested in that slot but is already driving 3
hrs...
No rush to decide! Besides maybe after the test event everyone
will know how many hours they want for race day...

I think i put a little note in the schedule for my opening
stint, I can do an hour and a half comfortably, but am leaving
for the weekend as soon as i am done racing, if someone wants to
jump in after an hour and a half it would be ideal. I probably
could do the full 2 if needed or if it would upset the schedule
too much, but just wanted to throw that out in case someone
wanted more time in the car.
Ill have all my stuff packed ready to go in case i need to do
the full 2 hours though ;D
edit - this is for the session this weekend, the 17th

Thanks Justin, I don't think it will be a problem, we have a lot
of guys wanting a lot of track time so I gave you 1.5hr long
sting so you can relax and leave on time with your GF ;)
Sergey, I moved your times around, I started you earlier and
ended earlier to take care of Justin, is that ok?
Eric, I added you to 12:30-13:00 and took away 23:00-24:00 slot,
is that ok? I wanted to see how I felt with a 2.5hr stint...
let me know if it's all good guys...

I know I already have 3 hours scheduled, am willing to pick up
any gaps if they occur. That is if I'm notified in a timely
manner.
I made no plans for the weekend, but I also know that they only
allow 6 drivers in the sim at once so I think it would be good
for us to have an out-of-sim chat/voice available so that we can
keep each other up-to-date on any unforeseen changes.
I have a teamspeak server from another game I play that I can
use to host a voice/chat session.
Edit: Mikhael, it's fine :)

The team speak is probably a good idea for those who want/can
use it, especially when handing off to another driver. Ill
probably go pick up a cheap headset tongiht to use for the race.
Also probably good to let someone know if you have taken any
damage which may affect the car's performance. I hit one of
those little bars or whatever they are leaving the pits at a low
speed and it cost me 2-3 seconds per lap, and about 6-7mph on
the straights. So from that, it was easily damaged and couldnt
even get out of the 40's.

I've heard other teams trying to use Teamspeak and having
issues.
Why do people need to use teamspeak, I don't get it? That's old
school and used until in game voice got available...
Is iRacing's voice chat unreliable? It's the only issue I could
see to use teamspeak. I just don't want to add any possible
complications, trying to keep it simple... ;)
Iracing has a team only channel (set to default) which is what
I'll be using to communicate to do driver swaps and if someone
wants to spot me.
And if guys want to voice chat out of race then there's iRacing
chat server, just make one there and join up, super easy, no?
I'm open to teamspeak if there are obvious advantages and
everyone wants it...

oh right. During the race we are on a team frequency.. so i
guess that would work on its own!

True enough, if you can toggle team only chat, in game it's good
enough, but when out of game, you can use the TS server, if you
guys so choose :)

Works for me. I'll still come on to spot early in case you want
to change over.
