Ok I did more testing, that's all for me tonight. These 3 are my
top best picks.
I generally have been adding air to tires, I find the car just
handles a lot better at high speed corners like 9-10, 1...
Been putting an equal amount of air = car more stable although
Justin's set is very stable. And a few diff settings and arb
setting to help make the car turn better...
Post your favorite, by tomorrow we need a consensus...

My favorite setups, in order of preference:
1. Modified Version of Bill's #2 (mid-high 37's)
2 (Tie). Bill's #2 & Justin's unmodified (38 flat, will get into
37's)
Mikhael, while I agree with balancing the tires, I don't like
the additional camber/caster in the front. I gain a little on
the infield, but lose a lot on the straights (mid 38's overall).
That and the heavier steering feel and some imbalance leaving
the infield turn me toward Bill/Justin's. I was actually
fastest in Mark's (mid-high 37's), but it is seems stable
overall.
My mod to Bill's:
1. Put 1lb extra in LEFT side tires (.5 more than right) - This
gives you Balanced hot pressures after 3 or 4 laps.
I think the balanced hot pressures work well. I'll
probably crew chief this in before I take the car in whatever
setup we go with.
2. Took toe to 0.1 (don't need more here, balances front temps
with rear temps)
3. Camber to 1.8 from 1.9 (insignificant tweak)
4. Rebalance weight to give 0 cross weight (same weight on each
front and each rear) with smallest possible difference in ride
heights.
5. Return Preload to 0
6. Decel Lock to 8, just for a little better turn in control.
7. Forgot till Justin reminded me: Brakes from Low to Medium
None of these are major, and I can run any of the other setups.

[s]I don't know about you guys but i found Marks Setup to be
fast. i was doing low 38's with full tank and mid 37's at the
end of the stint. I also tried Justin's and it's good, but only
high 38's on full tank and i wasn't getting close to that with
Bill's Vanilla Setup[/s] Bills modified setup is good ;)

Ran a full stint in an official practice session. Ended up
averaging around 1:39 in traffic (official average higher but
had a couple of significant delays avoiding then threading
through GT wrecks). (#12/22 HPD's in the session with endurance
mentality)
Laps: 31 Time: ~52 minutes
Fuel Use: 4.150 #/lap
Tires (mid): 86% 89%
92% 92%
Moved the brake bias back late in the run, probably should have
done it sooner.
Looks like we may be leaning toward [s]Justin's[/s] Bill's
Modified (#2) setup?

We should choose one soon so we can all get laps in with the
same one.
I think the one i posted was faster over one lap, but Bills was
more stable overall... in the end ill drive whatever as long as
i can get some time to get used to it for the session... I guess
in the end, safe is probably better than super fast after 24
hrs. I would be comforable with Bills or mine as ive done more
time on them.
One setup note i will give... break pressures. my preference is
with medium. i find i lock way too often with a high pressure
setup. Balance not so important as we can adjust front to rear
balance in car.
Other than that, as long as we can all drive the setup we will
use... just fill the tank and have fun!

Eric - Was that a full tank of fuel? we were guessing 30-32 laps
per tank earlier.
How were the tires? Think we should fill the tank and swap tires
each stop? Personally thats what i would do.. id rather have the
good rubber than save 10 secs and crash!

That was a full tank of fuel (132#). Tires were ok, got a
little push on corner entry at the very end of the run (probably
from locking the fronts a couple of times). You could run 2
stints with them, but pit stop time with tire change was 30
seconds. Unless we are in a tight battle, I think changing the
tires every stint is probably the way to go.
Stint length will probably be in the neighborhood of 50-55
minutes.

keep the comments coming guys, I can't test Eric's set tonight
but I can race whatever setup everyone likes the best.
Please vote for your favorite setup, yes stable over speed is
best, especially since if we get major damage we are out of the
race.
I'll do my last testing early tomorrow, will vote myself, add
up the votes and go with the majority. By tomorrow afternoon
we'll have a setup, gives us time to practice for the test
event. Then we can chat more about setups afterwards...

So i just finished spending a couple hours doing long runs (with
Bills #2 setup, modified as per eric's mods.
Average lap time -1:40.166
Fastest lap time - 1:37.415
Fastest lap # - 28
Laps Comp. - 51
Inc. - 10
First run was 21 laps. Car was stable, turned the TC up 1 every
8 laps or so to help with the tires, as well as moved the bias
back a bit. Was then cut off end pushed into pits to end the run
lol.
Second run was 28 laps (had 2 laps of fuel left when session
ended). Same as Run#1, stable car. I made a few mistakes myself,
locking up and over driving. There was quite a bit of traffic
and a few idiots. Never hit anything in all those laps, just 10
off-tracks.
Overall I think its a good set.
