Williams FW31

I haven't driven the F1 car for a while, mostly because I found
it to be very unsettled, at best, and couldn't adapt to how easy
it is to spin it.
Seems like in a few seasons iRacing team have really made the
car feel like it has the downforce of an F1 car. I'm actually
about 1.5-2 seconds off of the pace of the pros. Yes, some of
them might be able to do 3 seconds quicker than me but we all
know they're not human :P
Anyways, expect me to possibly try to come back to the iRacing
Grand Prix series now that I'm back at A license.

Should've been in the top 10 at least, and probably closer to
top 5 but got some damage early on. Didn't mess with the
aero/steering, at least I don't think it did, but knocked a few
MPH off my top speed, so I think I was a bit underpowered.. Cost
me a lot of time. Still, at 14 incidents managed to gain SR
lol.. Too bad I lost some iR. Will try once more to see if I can
change that.

I've always found that car to be a bear to set up. Kudos to
being able to drive it that well. When it comes to F1, I'll be
found in the Lotus 79 :).

I didn't set it up. Alex Simpson (a WDC driver) shares setups,
and the one at Interlagos is so solid, as long as it's not on
high fuel. 2 stop setup feels great, although last race, I went
from 5th to out of the race because I forgot to set a limit for
fuel at the stop and the car became a mess, took out a dude who
was in 3rd.. feel so bad.. And he messages me with "I'm sorry,
it's 100% my fault" messaged lol.. I be like.. NOPE, I'm the one
who screwed up, I had the blue flag and didn't wave you by, I'm
the dick driver lol.
The car feels great though... If I hadn't crashed out I would've
secured at least a 5th.

Finally managed a decent race. Placed 9th out of 20. Would have
placed higher but had an early spin at the Esses, had to let
most of the field through and then play catch up game. 18th to
9th, not bad. Competitive field too, and enough rookies to get
killed at least once :P

After a semi-successful F1 race at Watkins Glen, I had a bad
race, crashed out shortly after pit stop, decided to give it
another go today.. Here's how it went.

NOTE: I spent most of the time in 5th, towards the end had a
good scrap trying to defend 5th, had a fast driver up my rear
wing for a good number of laps but did some good defensive
driving to stay in 5th.
Overall, happy :D
