Mikhael - have you found a favorite setup? I'm pretty adaptable
so if you've found something you like post it up so I can take
some practice laps, maybe offer a tweak or two.

Haven't had a chance to test yet, should have time tomorrow...
       What have you been running?
I'm not looking for a fast setup, willing to sacrifice all kinds
of speed just to keep the car clean... if that's even possible
       at Sebring... :-\

Agreed. I've been running the setup I posted earlier and also
some mid-downforce setups that are maybe 1s slower. I don't
think passing on any given lap will be important so I'm willing
to sacrifice straight line speed for stability, especially in
       sunset and turn 1.

I never have problems having stability in sunset/T1 with low DF.
I just take a wide breaking line and when the car slowed down
then make a turn towards the inside wall and usually by then I
am good to full throttle down to T1. T1, just gotta watch to not
power on too soon and go off the track.

I've run a few laps in Allan's posted set, not great, maybe it's
an old set... Sergey's is much better but only ran a few laps.
Test iRacing's medium and low and they both work nice. Low is
faster but medium you can break later and is more stable...
I'll test in traffic and see a little more...

I guess it's all about how the set fits the driver(s). Some are
more adaptable than others, and some can only do one thing and
       nothing else.
Truth be told, I'm really warming up to the Z4. Not quite enough
to say "yes, let's run the 12 in the Z4" but enough to probably
get more into the Blancpain series.
I think it'll be shallow for me to just stick with downforce
cars because that's what I think I'm best at.
That said, I'll be trying to find the best compromise and most
stable set, not necessarily the fastest. You all know me, I want
to get as much speed as possible but not at the expense of
       crashing on lap 1 :P

@ Sergey, ya the GT cars can really fun... ;D
I forgot about the weather so when I was testing it was default
       weather, duh
So tested in traffic with proper weather, I'm off the pace by 1
or 2 seconds for sure, need more practice to do regular 1:51 and
       1:50s...
       @ Eric, I like Sergey's set but haven't tested a full stint, I
also like iRacing's medium default set in traffic, you can
really outbreak the GT cars with the medium set which is what
       I'm most concerned about.
I'm leaning with the thought that going with a better braking
car to pass the GTs better = cleaner car longer = we'll be
faster then the other HPDs over the long haul.
From our Daytona experience I don't think Sebring will be about
a race of the fastest car and driver but more about a race of
who can stay without damage the longest.
And if we do get damage (most likely :-\ )I wonder if a medium
setup will be better then a low setup...?
Eric, I won't have tones of time so if you have a set you like
send it to me and I'll give that a go :)

So, this is a confirmation for me: the quickest quali lap so far
is 1:48.5 from someone who was posting 1:48's in race trim. No
small feat. So that tells me that most people will struggle to
put in a 1:49 in race trim, and I can expect to see a lot of
people doing 1:51's and 1:52's during the race. I will try to
see if I can get down to 49's and 48's in quali, but I guess
       I'll be OK with a :50.

Managed to get down to a 1:50.936. Still slow compared to what I
could've done. Had a few bad corners on the in-field. At some
points was around .6 seconds on delta, early in the lap. Hard to
put in a perfect lap :(

So how long is a stint, 45 minutes?

I've been getting 30 laps per stint which is going to be about
       56 minutes.
