I am currently working on a Q and an R setup. Managed to get a Q
set down to 1:49.9X and the R setup to mid 1:50's. hardly
impressive since I have put in Q times of 1:48's before but that
was a while ago, and I'm sure a few builds/tweaks later it might
have slowed down the car.
I turned the TC down to 6 instead of 8. It feels like at 8 it is
under-utilizing the engine. However, that being said, it feels
very solid and stable right out the pits. I managed to take T1
in 5th on Q set, and it doesn't feel like the tail is going to
step out in the Sunset corner. It might, but not usually, if
done right. I'll upload a replay of the lap, maybe even with
commentary lol.

Here is a very low DF setup that I can run 1:50's - low 1:51's
full fuel. Sergey should be able to get 1:48's easy out of it
with low fuel.
You do want to brake very early, like at or before the 4 cones
at 7 & 10, and the 3 Cones at 3, 13 & 15 (you can still drive to
the 2 or 1 at Sunset Bend. Also requires some throttle finesse
until you get used to it, but then it's pretty pleasant. If it
hooks on exit, pick up the throttle later.
You'll want to glide turn 1 in 5th until you can pick up the
throttle without pushing the rear out. If it keeps on, put take
the wing from 3 to 2 (this wing numbering is backward from most
cars, 2 has more DF). Sometimes a late downshift to 4th can be
quicker through 1, but if you are carrying enough speed, 5 is
the way to go (this has higher gearing than the previous
setups).
Note: I ran the "baseline" and could pull high 1:51's all day
long.
If the attachment doesn't "take", let me know and I'll email it
out. (I tried creating this one with WinRAR, I had use
standard windows in the past)

I ran a few laps, tried lowering car a bit for more DF. Too
nervous on the in-field.
I ran a 1:51.3 but inconsistent and it feels like it understeers
and oversteers in different areas of the track.
Honestly, I'm finding it hard to find a good, fast setup that
works for me. I like to push but can't find a good set to push
with so I'm consistently slow :(
Once they open up the official practice sessions I'll be hard at
work because we'll know the exact conditions. And if it's gonna
be at night, it'll make all the difference.

Yeah, that is not a "push it" setup. I tuned the shocks to
mellow out the on-throttle hook oversteer, but that sacrifices
braking stability (thus the long brake distances - in straight
line). You can push the medium DF sets a lot more, but as you
noted, they are 6kmh/4mph slower at the end of the back
straight. I can run it consistent (1:51.3ish), but it took me a
while to get there.

Guys, I found our Sebring setup (I think).
Go to HPD forum>Setup Shop>download Allan Peterson's setsup that
says "Allan Peterson (Q and R)" and change the break bias to
58.5 (at least I found that one more favorable).
With that set I managed a 1:49.94 with full load and 1:49.0X in
Q trim (break bias to 58.5). It wasn't a perfect lap, I think I
could've done a mid 1:48 quali lap if I put in a more perfect
lap.

well, that setup I emailed you guys might not be good. It was
good for the first half of the stint and then suddenly tires
fall off and you have to fight understeer and snap oversteer..
Just ended my race with about 20 minutes to go. :-/ Will keep
trying.

Mikhael - have you found a favorite setup? I'm pretty adaptable
so if you've found something you like post it up so I can take
some practice laps, maybe offer a tweak or two.
