Sebring 12hr Setups
By: MM Date: February 4, 2015, 11:34 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
So for Fun I looked online for Sebring setups, I just found
Allan Peterson's. I tried our Daytona setup, ran 1:52s with full
fuel, 1:51s with Allan's but had to push.
I'm definitely out of practice with Sebring, sure love the track
though.
I think we can build on our Daytona set for sure, low DF works,
car very solid, would like the car to understeer less but
interesting...

I'm not the best with gearing, so could someone post optimal
gearing for Sebring?

By the way, Allan Patterson builds some pretty awesome setups.
I've used them all the time and won races on a few occasions -
not so easy in iRacing.

Agreed, Allan has some good sets for sure!
I haven't tried Bill's set but here it is in zip, he's emailed
it to everyone with corner info...
Thanks Bill!

I played around with that setup, tried to get rid of the
understeer.. Well, it doesn't undresteer anymore, a bit loose,
but it's not bad. Thoughts?

Been toying around with the setups.
Bills was too tight.
Sergey's too loose.
So I'm searching for a goldilocks setup.
Right now running mid-high 1.50's on full fuel with a medium
downforce/13 wing setup (remember, higher wing # is less
angle/downforce in this car). Still working on it. Once I get
it comfortable through a full fuel run I'll post it. It's
getting a little tight through the run.

Hey guys thanks for the setups work, if you have a decent set

similar page. Thanks!

Went back to Sergey's after a couple of weeks, and it wasn't too
loose any more, in fact I took the wing to 3 (less downforce)
and ran great laps. I think I will put some time into it this
coming weekend after the build, as they are changing some
suspension bits across the entire service.

That I'm looking forward to. Hope it's a good change, as they
have been lately. I used to hate iRacing for its "ICEracing"
characteristics, they've definitely put things out there to make
it more road car friendly.

Looks like we'll have to rework the setup after the update...
But there is good news!
