What use do performative contradictions have in philosophy?

I'm just wondering. How much weight do performative
       contradictions have, if any?

In my opinion, they're the most effective arguments a
       philosopher can give.
I know that we can think that they proves that a proposition is
only subjectively necessary, and not objectively, but I also
think that's an absurd idea in itself. That sort of idealism is
       self-defeating.
