       Rainchaw and Stormchaw

Rainchaw isn't really a storm kind of chaw, they live by a lake
in Forest of Fae. The lake is called Faetear lake, because
according to Fae legend, the Upper One cried a single tear that
formed it. Fish is the diet of most of the Faes, but the chaw
will eat ground animals when in a drought. Sometimes other Faes
will call Rainchaw members selkies because they spend most of
their time underwater or near water. The stones that wash up
onshore are used to form a tali, a special kind of lucky charm
that is supposed to protect the bearer. All of Rainchaw's
members live in the willows that circle their side of the lake.
Stormchaw worships the false idol of Akmun, the Stormchaw
goddess of rain and storms. The side of Faetear they live on is
more of a bog, and all of Stormchaw lives in one of the many
trees that live in the shallow water. Ducks and other waterfowl
will hang out around the trees, and that makes easy prey for
Stormchaw. Lots of neighboring tribes will call members of
Stormchaw sirens, because of the odd calling noises females will
make when trying to find a partner. The enticing coo actually
attracts males like a magnet to another magnet. The moss on the
bottom of Faetear has odd magikal properties when combined with
other substances. The people of Stormchaw use that feature to
their advantage by making a kind of muddy stuff to keep
attackers out. The mud somehow makes the Fae approaching turn
around subconsciously, in the other direction. For years there
have been no wars in Stormchaw simply because nobody wants to
       fight them.
