Emberchaw and Flamechaw

All of the knights in Emberchaw have a forge in their hollow,
and oddly Emberchaw Faes tend to be shy and antisocial. Spending
long hours in front of a fire has made Emberchaw members immune
to very bright light. An Emberchaw citizen could stare at the
sun for days and still be able to see. A dead and dry forest is
where Emberchaw's territory is, because there are frequent
forest fires that can aid in making new forges. A small amount
of light magik surrounds the Emberchaw camp so none of the
raging fires can reach them. Since the forest they live in is
full of dead trees, Emberchaw enjoys the bugs that eat at the
rotting flesh of a dying tree. Emberchaw can make very hot coals
useful in making pottery that contains ingredients for the
shaman to make healing poultices and repelling potions.
Flamechaw enjoys setting dry trees on fire to see prophecies in
the dancing flames. The Faes that live in Flamechaw dwell
underground so the fires they have don't spread into the
evergreen forest above them. Unlike Emberchaw, the members of
Flamechaw forge metal instead of pottery, making weapons for the
whole chaw. Sometimes if a smith chooses the right metals to
make the weapon they are creating it could have supernatural
properties, depending on the Fae's personality who is wielding
it. Older weapons of Flamechaw have beautiful designs etched
onto the surface of it. One weapon all of the chaws are looking
for is Excalibur, a magikal weapon that Flamechaw and Emberchaw
helped make. In that unlikely time of peace, some say that the
sword became more magikal that the two forgers, Softfeather and
Swiftfly, had expected. The sword will make the Fae wielding
Excalibur invincible, slaying all his enemies. Both of the major
chaws fear that within the Twilightchaw borders, the sword lies.
