Sunchaw and Moonchaw

Sunchaw makes sunstone for several uses among the chaw. The
members of Sunchaw live on a solid cloud that circles the Fae
forest for eternity. All of Sunchaw loves the rays of the sun-
and have somehow managed to use light magik to make it eternally
day there. They hunt small birds that wander the Cloud Thicket.
One temple lies in the center of the Sunchaw territory that is
dedicated to the Upper One. Sunstone is popular for buildings,
and all of the Knights and Squires live in a sunstone roost.
Sunchaw Faes do carving as a sacred ritual, because if a
sunstone is polished and carved in a certain way, Sunchaw
shamans can call up dead relatives of a grieving Fae.
Moonchaw is an evil chaw that leeches the moon's rays and
converts them into moonstones. Moonstones help project accurate
beams of dark magik. They live in a bleached white canyon carved
out of the Syl River. The Syl has round stones that make good
moonstones. Members of Moonchaw enjoy carving as a sport, and
sometimes when you carve a moonstone you can summon the creature
you carve it as. These talismans are called spirit stones. Being
very valuable, the spirit stones are worth over a thousand
manna, which is the currency used in Fae. Moonchaw Faes despise
Sunchaw and their artsy ways, cursing Sunchaw's name.
